The Ultimate Garfield Revision Thread

So, here are the proposals Upgrade AP to "At Least 9-B, likely 8-C" Upgrade Speed to "Potentially Immesurable" New Haxes: Retractable Claws, Adhesivity, Fear Manipulation, Non-Physical Interaction, Superhuman Digestion, Hammerspace, Able to talk to inanimate Objects, Transformation, Dream Manipulation, At least Mid-High, likely High Regenerationn, Mind Manipulation

And that's it.

What about the FTL rating, since it's unclear if he's outrunning the last photons from the light or the last electrons going to the light?

Is retractable claws limited body control?
What constitutes "body control"? Because moving your fingers is technically the same kind of "body control" as "retractible claws"

Yeah, no. Far too many assumptions for the relativistic reasoning. Much safer to assume he outpaced the light as he literally changed positions before the light could even go away.

How is it a dream? Usually in sequences like that in Garfield you seem him snap awake.

It outright states he's in a different time and he just tries and goes back to where he wants to be with a thought/word.

Anyways, can I add the revisions?
Given how we're still discussing things related to Garfield revisions, I would say it would be best to just hold off and wait until we're finished here.

So, there isn't a consensus as to whether it was real or just a dream, so it's not a usable feat as of right now.

There does not seem to be any implication that it was a dream
...Except for the fact that ot ends just like how 99% of nightmares end in fiction—the subject wakes up suddenly with a start and is relieved that it wasn't real.

And don't say "he woke up in a different place from where he fell asleep" because we didn't see him fall asleep in the first place, and the first panel starts with Garfield within the alternate world already.

Occam's razor says that without other reality-hopping feats, it's more reasonable to assume this was a nightmare.

The ending of the comic pretty much states it isn't reality
Good point, the ending definitely suggests that this "grim future" was the result of Garfield's imagination.

Fair enough, we can leave it out. Are we gonna apply the rest of the stuff? what are we doing for speed exactly?
IIrc, it is something among the lines of FTL, Possibly Immeasurable

Adding "possibly Immesurable" at the end of his speed rating, I believe.

Well, there wasn't really a consensus as to what Garfield was even doing in that comic, if it was speed or toonforce meta shit, so "immesurable" would have to be behind a "possibly" no matter what.
