This is what the fodder profiles of TABS are made for, for giant army battles! Also the Tortle is a CR 1/4 which means it's about twice as skilled as the average trained soldier. Which means for once, the D&D people don't skillstomp

Okay so if I got the values right Tortles are over x5.5 times stronger stat-wise than the Sarrisa and over x2.2 stronger than the Shield Bearer
On the other hand, the non-turtle side has a massive LS edge of over x8.7 times, so the Shield Bearer will be able to easily push the Tortles around
The Shield Bearer does have better durability with its shield, but if I understand right its body isn't Wall+.

Off how the TABS pages word it the troops are not that great in strategy, and from general gameplay from what I recall they sorta just rush forward. While Tortles aren't anything special they are equally skilled as their opposition while also being average intelligence-wise, so they probably would not just do the same and actually try to take advantageous positions.
Also just to correct OP, CR 1/8 is equal to a trained soldier, CR 1/4 is being able to take on two of them.

The Tortles have superior considering the TABS list nothing feat-wise, even being nice and giving them athletic stamina (Which imo makes more sense but rn it's hypothetical), the Tortles with their AP/Durability edge will be able to eat up a lot of hits

All in all I think the Tortles more often than not win, although the Shield Bearer do pose a threat and depending on the choices the former do could pin and crash them to death with their shields I imagine

Acctually looking the original calc I noticed that the high end was not accepted. so I should probable take the high end from that blog I made

any way, voting Turtles sinse they will try to go around the Wobblers to take them down while they will mostly walk in a straight line what will make their turtle formation go down pretty fast
