Just to keep it short, although it is a staff thread of sorts:

It's been said quite a bit here but I agree in just keeping the pages around as is and just have the pages updated over time. This way, any sort of updated drafts being done or are finished can then be applied onto the existing profiles.

Edit: No need to delete them and all unless it were a very controversial series or has so many glaring issues that it has to get nuked (usually both from what I have seen/heard before). Plus if it was deleted, you end up with the potential ongoing issue of supporters having to pull their weight in bringing them back and POSSIBLY having them deleted again if something goes wrong or it's still not correct. And I know of at least two series that used to be on VSB that had to get nuked time and time again just cuz the supporters couldn't agree on something or it was super controversial among other reasons.

Also, agree on any pages that were deleted which are essential to the progress in updating the verse like the Honkai Energy page as Thanatos brought up. If it helps out with the progress in getting them updated faster, all the better.

I agree with Qliphoth's sentiments here. I think that we should help the Honkai supporters in their work to get this verse reliable as well as we are able, and if that means undeleting pages, in order to give them a structure to more easily work from, so be it.

As one of the main people working on the verse, I am not opposed to deletion, but the old Honkai Energy page should definitely be restored as it is going to help me rework it.

From what I was told, the Honkai Energy CRT is almost ready to go, which will fix the problems with the page and make the verse much more accurate. For now, undeleting the previous Honkai Energy page might be enough, but I will let Shiroiyo decide since she is the one that have been working on the page's rework.

I've discussed with many of the Honkai supporteers off-site, that we should let go whatever damage that occurred in the past, and make our best effort to improve what we have now. The verse had made a significant amount of progress and improvement since I've created this discussion; many citations were added to the information of the articles, to substantiate its validity. Many things still need work on, but I hope it at least passed the threshold of needing to be deleted.

@Antvasima if you don't have an issue with maintaining the status quo and rely on the Honkai supporters to fix the damage already caused, without reverting the pages to their previously heavily outdated versions, I suppose this discussion can be concluded.
