What exactly do you mean?
Well, the Sun, like other stars, is generating its energy via nuclear fusion, the thing is that our star generates so much energy, which is equal to 3.828 x 1026 watts, which also is the energy of Sun's luminosity, via being huge and having lots and lots of fuel to support the nuclear fusion.
