The sun’s luminosity

I mean there's this but I'm not sure that's exactly what you're looking for.
Basically doing something like this, creating a source of light that shines as bright as the sun

Depends on how far he is from the artificial Sun. Based on the Volcarona calc, the light energy released by the Sun 3.8e+26 Joules. The surface area of a 1AU radius sphere is 2.81229379e+23 m^2
So the energy density would be 1351.21018 J/m^2
If d is the distance to the artificial star, the light energy would be equal to:
1351.21018 J/m^2 *4πd^2
