The Revenant Marvel Comics Discussion Thread

Never mind. I just saw the scans and do not think that they seem like convincing conclusive evidence at all. 🙏
What? Is that for me? This is longevity not immortality and one of the scans is a guy that was alive for 1000 years

Hello everyone ! Apologies for the wait. I apologize even further as it was initially supposed to be an upgrade thread only, but I found evidence to upgrade the level of High 1-A and even possibly make some characters true God-Tiers, hence why it took so long. But, it's here, and I'd appreciate feedback whenever it can be given.

That seems like a special case scenario, as there were no official statements about Kree lifespans in general. 🙏

Because most Kree die from the wars, are exploded ect, never seen a Kree die of old age, there is a statement saying that most Kree know war by the age of 12, the entire Kree civilization is mostly warriors.

That doesn't really matter in this context. We still need official clear confirmation for your theory. 🙏

I know this is purposefully exaggerated, but I think it should be removed, since Surfer had the Ultimate Nullifer by him the entire time, and that wouldn't actually be an outlier considering the Nullifer's rating on the site.

Just to clarify, since I got confused reading my own comment again, the quote is from the Power-Scaling Rules in Marvel/DC to discourage outliers, and uses exaggerated scaling. All I'm saying is that Firelord didn't harm Surfer with the Nullifier, so it isn't even an outlier, its just wrong.

The Nullifier is not a personal power-up as far as I am aware. It simply allows characters to erase timelines or even the multiverse, depending on the strength of the mind wielding it, and usually erases the user of it as well. 🙏

That was actually a pretty cool scene, not going to lie. It's nice to see a character tell Thanos to **** off with his nihilistic mind set and being dead set on fighting in the name of good and kindness even if everything seems hopeless.

Seriously, where is this Thor in the MCU? It's disappointing.

It was likely a copy of Thanos created by Utgard-Loki as an embodiment of Thor's coming death, but I strongly agree with you. 🙏❤️

I added the quote to the Thor page in our wiki. 🙏

Okay so, um, if you don't mind, Mods please do not close the Franklin Richards revision thread just yet. I'm reading through all of Franklin's appearances (something I wish I did prior to making the thread but what's done is done), and if I find any notable information I'm putting it in the blog.

dude why are you linking the 2024 elections in the quote. Stop putting real world politics onto this site.

Uhhh anyways…
should marvel comics have a general physiology page that applies to every character?

i.e. sliding timescale

gwenpool page has alot of things that shouldn’t just apply to her.

Well, it seemed very obvious what issues that Al Ewing was referring to within the quote, given the overall thematics of the storyline, and that he has almost identical values to myself. 🙏

That's... not really an excuse. For one, real world politics is something we tend to avoid discussing except in acceptable threads (and even then it's with heavy moderation), and especially on our profiles. Two, if you don't have direct proof that is what he's referring to, you're just making ti seem like you're projecting. I'm not saying the issue isn't important, but projecting that issue through a profile doesn't look good.

Okay. I will remove the political information links.

Is it fine if I at least keep the two about environmental destruction, as that has been a very blatant running thematic throughout this storyline? 🙏

I think i finished the Kree stuff

I would like to post it and make a Kree specie category to add to "everyone"
It mostly seems good, but the grammar needs to be improved, and the first header image needs to be replaced with a version with higher quality. 🙏

If it's supported by the comic and no one has an issue with it, okay. If someone does have an issue with it, you'll have to discuss it with them. I just don't want any fights starting when it doesn't have to happen

SamanPatou who made the Gwenpool rework said that those abilities only count for those who acknowledge they are a thing so only 4th wall breakers scale to.

I'm not english native so I can't do much better than this. Regarding the image I can't really find anything better, this one is already improved via AI because the original was much worse and cames from an old comic/handbook.

Thor's mother Gaea is explicitly sending other Elder Gods to destroy humanity for destroying the environment of the Earth, and the Marvel Universe's most powerful oligarch, Dario Agger, is the one most responsible for this. 🙏

That's more for the character. I don't think it was intentional at all and I never got that implication.

Dario Agger explicitly stated that he is deliberately destroying the Earth just to make a profit, and doesn't care at all. 🙏

That's a common trope. Rich and greedy people have always been a thing. “Selling your soul for more profit” isn't a new idea. I, rather, we leave this type of stuff out. It's great that to tackle environmental issues but I don't think the comic was meant for that specific issue.

That is not the referred to issue here. As far as I recall, Gaea explicitly stated to Thor that humans are destroying her environment (and other sentient life forms), after which Thor approached Dario Agger to try to reason with him, and during the conversation Agger explicitly stated that he is fully aware of that he is systematically destroying the Earth and depleting its resources until they run out, but doesn't care at all as long as he is making a profit. 🙏
