Story: In a recent battle with a new foe, Wally found that in the aftermath, he was not as fast as he usually is, and is restricted to a speed of sound level. Confused, he decides to race to the Batcave to find his teammate in the Justice League, Batman, to find out the source of his problem and hopefully, restore his speed to its normality.
Pietro, A.K.A Quicksilver, was sitting in his room in Avengers Tower, still sour from losing to the man known as the Flash years ago. He felt that he should be the fastest man alive, that's what he was told his entire life. But to see this man suddenly zoom into his life, and outrun him? Actually outrun him and beat him? As impressive as it was to Pietro, it angered him, humiliated him more than anything else. He looked out to his window, and saw him run by the Avengers Tower down by the streets. The Flash. But something wasn't right. Even with his enhanced perception of time, the Flash seemed almost slower than he usually was. Pietro would usually feel the Speed Force eminating out of the Flash, a clear sign of a being faster than him, but this time, he didn't feel it. But suddenly, it came to him. "What if the Flash's powers had been shortened?" He always told himself after the battle that if Flash just slowed down, he was sure he could beat him. The chance is right here, he realized. He raced out of the Avengers Tower to catch up.
Wally was annoyed by how slow he seemed. He would usually reach Gotham in seconds. Is this how that punk Quicksilver feels all the time? Almost on que, Marvel's fastest mutant appeared right in front of Wally with a confident look on his face. "Ready for a rematch, chump?"
Rules:
-This is the Rebirth Wally West, and the current Marvel Comics Quicksilver.
-Speed equalized, due to Wally being normally the speed of light, and Pietro the speed of sound, and Wally has been weakened.
-Wally cannot use the Infinite-Mass Punch.
-Both have previous knowledge of each other's strengths and abilities.
-Both are against each other one-on-one, no outside interference.
-Morals on, winner by K.O.
-Battle takes place on the streets of New York, USA.
