The recent mis-information.

Addressing the recent misinformation of Elder God Demonbane from Beyonder.

Beyonder starts this all off by saying this:

http://prntscr.com/eb74wr

The author says EGD is not beyond dimensions, then he says under special circumstances he may gain such abilities.

Beyonder doesn't know anything about the Demonbane verse so he assumes its an "unknown" circumstance where he'll gain these abilities. When we know the only move in the whole series EGD has used that can perform this feat is Athleta-Aeternum. Confirmed by the Author himself below:

http://prntscr.com/eb77bb

This is the move he used on Nya during the fight.

They also claim Azathoth isn't omnipotent which again is corrected by the author:

http://prntscr.com/eb7v5h

Now the final misinformation Beyonder spread:

http://prntscr.com/eb794v

Beyonder proceeds to ask the Author if the demonbane multiverse is infinite. The author responds with Demonbanes universe may be near infinite, BUT 3 minutes later he corrects himself as says this:

http://prntscr.com/eb7ahr

He says that because he's a narrator he doesn't know everything about the Demonbane universe. WHICH beyonder fails to show in his thread.

What's the final verdict on this situation and should azathoth be upgraded to tier 0 based on this?

Azathoth is Tier 0 from the get go. Its obvious that he is base on the Original Cthulu Mythos so he would be Tier 0 default. But really, trying to debunk Demonbane Tier when everything had already been confirm in the story and the feat that he shows as well is just being ignorant of it. Demonbane cosmology is confusing at first like The Cthulu Mythos but once you get down to it, it's very understandable.

Thank you for the information.

Well, as far as I understand from what I remember of DarkLK's explanation to me long ago, DYN Freaks is a comparatively extremely low level setting that is played out by distant avatars/"freaks" of the true entities.

Didn't the author mention something about avatars of the Elder Gods on Twitter as well (I checked up his recent account activity)? This is likely what he referred to.

Oh yes that is true, i remember seeing him saying something about that.

Thank you.

DYN Freaks and Nitroplus Blazters (Which is a Crossover but canon to Demonbane) is played out amidst "Freaks" / Avatars of the deities. The main plot involves Mugen, Yog-Sothoth's Freak, trying to "revive" Azathoth who is actually a Freak (Azana) as well. The very fact that the manga treats a human schoolgirl with a normal person's mind and morality as being a reincarnation containing Azathoth's power should make it obvious how they are not the actual full-power entities.

Agreed. So, should we close this thread?

Well, as he says himself in your second link, he is being forgetful about the series and making mistakes, which is understandable, since it has been over 13 years.

And as we mentioned earlier, killing an avatar of Azathoth in DYN Freaks does not really mean anything. Azathoth dreams absolutely everything into existence after all. If it somehow was possible to kill the entity, it would all automatically disappear.

Apparently according to him Azathoth is omnipotent but he/it is capable to be killed with the Vortex Blaster who is according to him is not omnipotent..

Twitter and the language barrier makes in-depth communication very difficult. The DYN Freaks version of Demonbane is only fighting low level avatars.

Anyway, it is probably best if we close this thread.
