Ike fought characters with both of those. Also, Ike's Ragnell is a ranged weapon comparable to arrows and magic in range.

I know all of that. But flight and range gives the opponent the advantage over Ike unless proven otherwise. Also, Ragnell's range techniques are **** tier. Ike has only faced, at best, Javelin-throwing pegasus knights. Not counting Dragons because who knows how the fight went.

He fought magic users capable of summoning clouds, meteors, and volcanic eruptions too. He also fought Tomahawk wielding Draco Knights; who can throw those same Tomahawks like boomerangs. Don't forget about bird and dragon laguz also.
