The omnitrix restoring DNA?

So in this thread it was said that the omnitrix has the ability to "return to life any species" however it was said not to be resurrection but instead just "restoring DNA" can someone please explain what was meant with that.

With restoring DNA from what i saw in the thread they probably meant that it can bring a whole species back but somehow it isn't resurrection even though it was shown in this video(2:08) i guess i can't argue with the admins :(.

From reading the thread, I think by revive they mean recreate.

Example: If I died and the Dragon Balls where used to revive me. It would be Resurrection as it's the same me.

But the Omnitrix wouldn't resurrect me. It would use the DNA data of me and create a clone that is an exact replica. It sounds similar to Resurrection but it's not the same.

Note: This is simply me guessing as my Ben 10 knowledge isn't what it use to be.

Yeah I agree with you. The Omnitrix recreates species, not reviving them. I wouldn't say its a clone as it creates new people using the human DNA in its database and mix and matches.

So no. You'd still be dead but your species would live on.
