Just checked and every demon resists his lightning. He may bring the punch from his lightning but other than that, it wouldn't do anything else.
Another thing is while it isn't that crazy, Majima is listed to have fear manipulation in his P&A, meaning he should at the very least disorient every demon in the vicinity, putting him off their heat even if it's a little. Dragon Twister can probably do some damage but I'm not sure if it can raise people up and take them away like actual tornadoes (as well as them having slightly higher LS), and since we're allowing Majima to summon touhou levels of knives, he can get the edge over the countless demons the Marauder will summon.
There’s also the fact that Majima is much better at throwing hands, he beat Jo Amon, who was the best fighter in the world back in Y0. Majima is arguably more agile too and he’d likely be able to dodge any projectiles or melees from Marauder (and that axe is like, plasma hot iirc, so he definitely wouldn’t want to get hit by it)
Certainly, I was just worried about the summoning part of Marauder. While Majima has shown his bloody skills over the course of his appearances, these fodder demons aren't like the typical fodder goons in the long battles since these guys have some unique abilities of their own (Doesn't help I was sleepy). Knowing this, current Majima would be on par with current Kiryu who has beaten the Amons throughout his games. Even when he was tortured, beaten and bruised during his boss fight in Yakuza 5, he can still stalemate a healthy Saejima who wasn't holding back.
The Marauder (as well as the other demons for that matter) has to deal with 4 styles of his combat too.
Thug style will have Essence of Thug: Weapon Grab and Gun Grab to disarm the Marauder during his attacks and especially when he's vulnerable. EofT: Pursuit will be splendid for when TM wrestles out of Majima's grab.
Breaker will allow him to go AoE on the demons' asses and Slugger is slugger. It packs punch!
Mad Dog's stuff is the culmination of all three styles with his own flair, meaning those shit will be applied back to this style, while having new stuff for the demons to deal with, like his heat action name I forgot when three people are fighting him.
Skill stuff aside, Majima can amp himself throughout the battle with his ever-rising heat. Marauder can amp himself greater but at the caveat that he has his cooldowns while our idol can have his be constant. Healing with Staminan Royales is just a gulp away in case he gets hurt immensely (that axe won't be covered by his heat resistance where the kettle water heat is like a coughing baby to the crucible's hydrogen bomb heat).
Two standout things for Majima. One is that his clones should inherit everything Majima has in his arsenal, so expect countless more knives and tornadoes.
Another is that Majima is chock full of counter moves and will be advantageous to use against TM since he loses his forcefield when he attacks. Thug's normal counter and Harsh Lessons will be procced countless times, and Mad Dog's counter is a bitch to go through. His clones should also benefit from this.
