Yeah Reaper does sometimes read 40K books after he's put down like 4 Fantasy books. Let's go.

Scans from Chapter 1 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

Obvious enhanced senses justifications for sight

Type 3 Non-Standard Breathing for Astartes helmets, and a scan that Astartes Armor is Waterproof incase that was needed

Enhanced Senses justification for smell

Scans from Chapter 2 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

Aaaaand welcome to hell. Infared, polarized vision, thermal imagining, and several others. Also Air-tight Astartes Helmets. This would be Enhanced Senses and Information Analysis for ALL Astartes Armor with a helmet.

Astartes Armor can track molecular concentrations and Phermones. Lion's sense of smell can also do this.

https://imgur.com/a/YAPLm3b
Astartes Armor can increase audio sensitivity

Rando scan from Chapter 5

So Terminators can fight with blown up organs. Stamina feat.

Scans from Chapter 8 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

So, obviously, rehashing that he's weaker and slower... but only by a little. Thus, he'd remain Transonic in Movement Speed since being slightly slower doesn't mean he's dropping two entire speed tiers. As for the Curze bit, really it just means the two were so close in speed and power that slight decreases in both means that the Lion would lose that.

Scans from Chapter 9 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

Something seperating the two keys of The Lion in resistances, since he does not really think he can handle every poison under the sun now... maybe.

The Lion casually resists Psyker powers

Instinctive Action for The Lion.

Scans from Chapter 17 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

more IA

I didn't find anything else juicy

Most of it seems fine though there's a few things I'm gonna go against

The Lion casually resists Psyker powers
That's him resisting mind manip which is something he already has

Based on the paragraph and the fact they were just fighting Chaos cultists it's less him not being as resistant to poisons as he once was and more that there might be something warp related in the air which he may not resist which is why he trusts Zabriel's experience in dealing with warp stuff and his caution

Both fair

Same thoughts as this.

Hi, I wanted to add a few things I found interesting in the book regarding his ability.

Chapter 6 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

  • "This is, I presume, what will keep me from Terra?’ he asks..‘Yes,’ Zabriel replies quietly. ‘The Great Rift. So far as we know, it splits the entire galaxy in two, but since the Astronomican is obscured and warp travel is impossible to undertake safely for more than a few light years at a time, actually finding that out is not easy"
In addition to covering long distances, This Forest operates on the Dark Imperium side of the Great Rift.
Considering that the Astronomican cannot reach the other side of the galaxy and that the Lion manages to traverse vast distances while staying safe from the Warp, I find that very impressive.

Chapter 29 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

  • "Any teleport flare?’ ‘You are aware that the palace is covered by a teleport jammer–’ ‘Of course I am aware!’ Baelor shouted. ‘I oversaw its deployment! But we have hostiles firing boltguns within the palace perimeter, so has there been a bastard teleport flare?’ ‘No, there has not,’ the Apostle replied, and even he sounded discomforted. ‘Wait… The Cobra has opened fire. A full volley of torpedoes. It has broken off its approach, and is fleeing.’ ‘What is the torpedoes’ target?’ Seraphax interjected. ‘Initial triangulation suggests the ostella, Lord Sorcerer.’ Shoot the ordnance down,’ Seraphax ordered. ‘And get some ships in their path, just in case you fail to do so. The Cobra is a secondary consideration – the ostella is to be protected even if you have to take the strike yourself, am I understood? ‘Of course, Lord Seraphax.’ ‘Now,’ Seraphax snarled, summoning his skull-tipped staff to his hand through the warp with a flex of his fingers. ‘We have intruders. I do not know how they got here, but it is of little consequence. Let us go and see exactly whom my gene-sire has brought with him to die.’ The green-armoured forms of the Dolorous Guard began to converge, forming up around them as they left the throne room, but Baelor’s misgivings were not eased by their presence. Somehow, the Lion had outflanked them. And Baelor knew only too well that when the Lion outflanked his enemy, that enemy was usually doomed."
His forest can counter jammers and shields, allowing him to appear without being detected.

I’m a bit new to the forum, so I’m not completely familiar with the terms for Hax and such yet. ^^

Neither are really haxes, just his forestwalking being a safe form of Dimensional Travel.

I really should apply this.

How would I write this stuff into your profile?

also every Astartes with a helmet gets like 3 of these.

Add these to his enhanced senses justification. Probably something like "Can see through darkness without issue. Can smell Warp corruption, pheromones, and specific molecular concentrations"

Astartes Armor can increase audio sensitivity

Add those also to enhanced senses "Astartes helmets have many vision settings ranging from infrared to thermal-imaging. Their helmets can also track pheromones and specific molecular concentrations. Their helmets can also increase audio sensitivity"

As for non-standard breathing "Astartes helmets are airtight and can allow for breathing even while submerged" then just add both scans to it

Rando scan from Chapter 5

So Terminators can fight with blown up organs. Stamina feat.
Just add it to the main astartes page under the stamina section

Scans from Chapter 8 of The Lion: Son of the Forest

Just change "at least subsonic, likely transonic" to "transonic"

Instinctive Action for The Lion.

Something like "The Lion can fight purely on instinct". Honestly there are other scans that could support this but I'm gonna add those later.

also every Astartes with a helmet gets like 3 of these.
Eh, we'll deal with that later in another crt
