If Dark Delta or a V. Verse equivalent did encounter the tempest deity, yeah I’d say her goal would be to win asap. He’s ‘Dark’ delta so that alone probably makes the tempest soul be like ‘woah Alela, that one may be a problem’ and then if they encountered each other the scenario where tempest soul detects the super dangerous BFR would happen and then this fight would proceed as the votes decided

The way Resistance Negation works in FCOC is a bit outdated, it was revised on VSB to make it so that characters can only negate resistances they have shown to negate, it has basically became a subset off powernull (akin to regen negation) and does not just negate all resistances
