I don't know about this as she was still hurt by bullets from rifles. Her durability doesn't seem to have changed much. Just piss poor writing tbh. Same with parasite Butcher being somehow able to trade blows with V1 Homelander. Piss poor writing. Obviously given that it is the entire premise of the ending you could argue it should take precedence. But even an s1 Homelander could have escaped the building.

So none of the season 5 posters even had eye lasers in it so i wanna know where you got this idea.
The eye lasers happened right after he got V1, (in the show) and Vought's official Twitter Account (twitter scaling, far worse) directly stated that people across the entire world were able to see it.
If you calced it, that'd be pretty damn high, nevermind most mods would probably call it an outlier.

Not so much an outlier and more like it contradicts what is actually shown when he does unleash his lasers. Despite having enough luminoisty to light up the world Butcher and co aren't perm blinded or like vaporised by just being near it? How would people around the world even see the beam with the curvature of the Earth?
And there's the fact it's an outlier in the term he never does shi like this again and the next time he uses his hv he cannot insta vaporise Kimiko

yh probably he's been in more fights than ur average joe. Even if they weren't fully comparable in strength that alone gives him an edge. It's not really an antifeat if he loses to people like Butcher, MM or even Hughie if they had equal stats.

That still wouldn't make sense with the curvature of the planet, how would it be seen on the opposite side of the planet? And this would still require the beam to be kilometeres in diameter.

we don't know how long it took for it to be seen, but you could calc the rest of that.
You can clearly see in episode and in the image Vought has that the eye lasers grew in size as they shot farther away from Homelander, so it'd be a weird calc but i think it wouldn't be a horrible assumption.

ok these 2 categories are fine as you are saing, but higher end super like Homelander, Butcher etc should get above subsonic

What if Homelander just also lost the little battle iq he had along with the V.
+He was a "god" his entire life, then suddenly got depowered to a regular human, so it's like adapting to a whole other body like a baby having his first steps or some shit
+He was scared shitless during the fight, like he was desperarely clinging to his lost powers and tried escaping, he CLEARLY wasn't in the right mind to have a equal grounds fight/lock in. He was terrified because he lost what made him special and was in front of someone who wanted him dead from the start.
+Butcher is arguably the best fighter in the verse (along with MM, Soldier Boy and Maeve if I had to guess) so no matter how decent of a fighter John could have been, he would still get his ass whooped.

Seriously, if your reactions and reflexes are enhanced beyond your opponent's, the advantage is less evidence of skill. Without these enhancements, or dealing with someone on equal footing, Homelander just tanks shit

Ok let's say this, i think there are reason why homie didn't percive A-Train that don't involve speed, because you can't go that fast and while not being able to react while you do precise turns like these one:
I think the reason homelander didn't see A train are:
- He was mostly focused on Butcher and Heghey during that scene
- He had laser vision still active, and it creates red light, so it's possible that the light created was abstructing his vision in that millisecond.
Homelander is still slightly slower than A-Train, but saing he's not comparable is too much to me.
