Tbh, you would think they'd even give us a whole extra episode to show what happens to the world when all is said and done. Like, with the country basically on fire after racking up starlighters and putting them in camps. Dude also killed the president and all this other crap.
Idk how they can really have an episode where they kill Homelander, follow-up with what the Boys do after, and then show how the world recovers from it.
They have to do soooo much in this last episode it's a shame.

Yeah this shit is not one episode away from finishing lol. I think part of the reason they’ve wasted so much time setting up for Vought Rising is because they knew the show was beyond salvaging after a certain point; that’s the only potential reason I can see for them hamfisting so much of it.

The way I think this series ending,is with butcher being the only one who dies.It fits well with his backstory (sacrificing the whole unit for one target).It sets up a nice antithesis.
(Also idk why everyone is ******** on this season and the series in general,yeah it sets up a lot of plot routes but if it ties them up nicely it will end up great.)

I've been shilling for this on reddit and X for a while now. The comics did a lot of things right too, the most important one probably being supe presence. Show sometimes feels like it's just about humans especially in later seasons. They would need to tone down the extreme things a bit but at this point can't even act like the show isn't almost as extreme as the comics. Hate to say it, but the comics are not as bad as people say most of those same people are larpers who only know the ending too

I'll be the first one to say it, they have many issues, but those are also why i like to read them occasionally.
Some people say that the ending was underwelming and flashed out homelander as a villain, but i have to say 2 things:
- that wasn't even the ending of the story lol
- Homelander was scary in the comics because he felt unrechable compared to other supers, you have a person with narcisistic disorder who's willing to do anything for attention and others approval who can realistically be only stopped by either an idrogen bomb or an army of supers, Black Noir was a planned twist since the start (or at least near it), because (kind of spoilers for the comics):
- Queen mave did made out with black noir and didn't felt the difference between homie and him (this is quiete literally an important plot point).
- Nobody else put the fear of god inside the seven exept these 2 ppl (also we have a foreshadowing of noir being a clone with a pannel before meave death).

This is true, the comic is actually basically 100% about Supes. Everyone is Supes.
And obviously a few characters are legitimately better in the comics, like... I guess Tek Knight, obviously Love Sausage, and... idk, some random background mfs.
They should've kept the 9/11 scene.
The last volume is lowkey the best part though(other than the Stormfront fight which is the best fight in the comic's whole run).

Honestly characters definitively better in the show are Neuman and MM. Starlight also got a lot more going on in the show. That's kinda it, right? Oh and Soldier Boy, obviously. S3 Soldier Boy at least. Crazy because in S1 they were all better.

I mean, in my personal opinion, I did not like Butcher at all in the comics, Karl's performance in the show hard carries. Also obviously characters like A-Train or Oh-Father who were kinda just sex criminals and nothing else in the comics. A lot of characters were just way... less in the comic, and some were like... more, idk, I could get into it but I don't wanna do a 2-hour deep dive into nothing again.

frenchie had a better end in the comics.
i honestly think that in the context of the show it's better, but at the same time in the context of the comics was better there.
Because in the comics it does make sense that the 7 first mission was a total fail and causes hundreds of victims, because Annis wants to show us that the whole team was highly uncompetent and won't think twice and say "**** this".
The plane scene in the tv serie i feel was more a spiritual successor than the recreation of the scene in the comics, i think that that one episode from diabolical does a better job in setting up the same vibe of 9/11 of the comics as it shows better how uncompetent homie really is.
G-men arc was really good too, it's where you start to understand how ****** up Vought was
I really like how they keep Hughie a good person till the end, with both him feeling emphatic for the people who were part of G-Wiz (due of them being kidnupped and implied to have been molested by Gadolkin) and the special needs team, he still remains a person who sees good in what Butcher didn't, it really adds a lot of prospective.
Because in one hand butcher is right, most supers are horrible people and need to die, but Hughie was also right because not all supers were evil and didn't deserve that treatment.
I will neve forgive Amazon Prime for making Hughie wayy more incline to kill, instead of not letting his enviorment not change him.
