The Backrooms Database Discussion Thread

didnt even know this exists...is this thread about everything concerning the backrooms (so kane pixels liminal archives wikidot fandom all at the other stuff)

Ok well since I'm bored I'll just make a post every day scaling each entity from the Wikidot (feel free to correct me on some stuff)

Entity 2 - The Windows

entity-2.jpg

Tier: Unknown | 10-B, Possibly 10-A

Powers and abilities:

Window:
Inorganic physiology, Portal Creation

Figure: Telepathy, Sealing (type 1), Portal Creation, Perception Manipulation (Vision Manipulation)

Attack Potency: Unknown (The creature itself is the window, and is safe when devoid of a Figure. Some Windows can lead to other levels) | Human level (The Figure is capable of exerting enough force to grab a normal human and pull them inside of the Window.), Possibly Athlete Level (The figure should be able to pull even athletic humans inside of the Window.)

Durability: Unknown | Unknown

Speed: Unknown
| Unknown

Lifting Strength: Unknown
| Average Human

Striking Strength: Unknown
| Unknown

Stamina: Unknown
| Unknown

Range: Unknown
| Standard Melee Range, likely higher with Telepathy

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Mindless | Unknown

Weaknesses:
Not all Windows have a Figure inside of them. The Figure cannot do any harm to you as long as you are out of its range. Its mind and perception abilities do not force you physically to come to it.

Key: Window | Figure

Entity 3 - The Smiler

entity-3-cc.png

Tier: 9-C

Powers and abilities:

Peak Human Physical Characteristics, Light Manipulation, Enhanced Senses, Bodily Weaponry

Attack Potency: Street Level (The Smiler is one of the many hostile entities found in the backrooms, and are known for attacking humans on a regular basis with its bodily weaponry. It is comparable to entities such as the Hound and the Skin-Stealer)

Durability: Unknown, Likely Street Level (Is comparable to entities such as the Hound and the Skin-Stealer)

Speed: Unknown, Possibly Peak Human (the Smiler is known for chasing humans in the Backrooms on a regular basis)

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Unknown

Stamina: Unknown

Range: Unknown,
Possibly Extended Melee Range (The Smiler is said to possibly have arms and legs bent in unnatural ways)

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Unknown, Likely Animalistic (The Smiler, much like the Hound, is only shown to react based on instinct)

Weaknesses: The Smiler is attracted to light, and gets distracted by it. The Smiler will only react if its prey starts to retreat, panic or if a loud noise is made. It is weak to the Smiler Exterminator, which makes it lose its senses and forces them to surrender.

Key: Smiler

Maybe make a profile for this entity from the wikidot.

I'd say thats athlete level

Aight I wanted to scale the Deathmoths but there are virtually no feats for them and I've spoken to ppl on their discord and the largest are supposed to be the size of large mammals so individually they should cap at 9-B I think, and they're kind of a hive mind so all of them together they're far higher. I won't bother scaling them tho.

Clumps have a great entry with lots of info and even a tale.

Entity 5 - Clumps

entity-5-cc[1].jpg

Tier: 9-C

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Bodily Weaponry, Biological Manipulation, Body Control, Possible Plant Manipulation (When harmed, the flesh that is splattered on the ground and left uncleaned will grow, from the ground, and is said to eventually produce a new clump similarly to how a flower grows)

Attack Potency: Street Level
(Clumps are said to wield incredible strength and actively chase humans for sustenance. They possess razor-sharp teeth and should be comparable to entities such as the Smiler and the Skin-Stealer.)

Durability: Street Level (Clumps are bundles of human limbs and tend to vary in terms of muscular structure and length.)

Speed: Superhuman (Clumps are said to move at inhuman speeds. They're able to jump over obstacles, travel through vents, and climb up walls with ease.)

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Unknown

Stamina: Unknown,
Likely Superhuman

Range: Extended Melee Range
(When within 8 feet from prey, the Clump will proceed to stretch out their longest limb in order to capture it.)

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Unknown, Likely Animalistic (its intelligence is comparable to the Hound and the Smiler)

Weaknesses: The Clump has a maximum range of 8 feet. It is vulnerable in its dormant state, in which they bury themselves into the ground, leaving their longest limb out into the open. Not many are known to attack right away. Their unusual structure affects the way they run.

Miscellaneous - Ethan

Tier: 10-B physically, 9-C with powers and weapons, Possibly higher with the Wall Mask

Powers and Abilities:

Plant Manipulation, Weapon Mastery

Attack Potency: Human Level
physically (Ethan is one of the many wanderers inside of the Backrooms and is comparable physically to other humans.), Street Level with powers and weapons (Ethan has the rare ability of creating and manipulating plants, which can cause serious damage to people, to the point where Ethan was able to snap Ben's neck. Ethan also uses weapons such as a knife in order to pierce his foes.), higher with the Wall Mask (Ethan, by the end of the tale, wears a Wall Mask, which boosts his mindset and his urge to kill.)

Durability: At least Human Level (Ethan is able to withstand kicks to the stomach, to the chest, and even had his arm broken.)

Speed: At least Average Human (Ethan's speed is comparable to other wanderers from the Backrooms. He was able to reach Tyler and stab him fast enough.)

Lifting Strength: At least Average Human (Ethan was able to carry a bag of limbs up to Level 10.)

Striking Strength: Street Class (Ethan can pierce his foes with his knife and carries a whip made of weeds and other weapons.)

Stamina: At least Athletic (Ethan was able to withstand kicks to the stomach, to the chest and even had his arm broken. He was also able to carry a bag of limbs to Level 10 after a deadly fight.)

Range: Standard Melee Range, higher with powers.

Standard Equipment: Knife, firearms, plants and possibly other weapons.

Intelligence: Average (Ethan's intellect should be comparable to other wanderers in the Backrooms.)

Weaknesses: Due to Ethan's experiences, he is affected by mental instability. It is implied that while Ethan possesses supernatural powers, he does not necessarily know how to control it, and is rather inexperienced with his abilities.

I'm not sure about my scale for Ethan ngl, if possible please read the tale associated with him and tell me if my scale is accurate 😎

Also, would no-clipping at will be space manipulation?

honestly no-clipping is a powerful mechanic of the backrooms. BFR, space manip, and tons of other potential hax that comes with it.

Dimensional travel / spatial manipulation / possibly higher dimensional manipulation / existence erasure / BFR are related to this ability (possibly)

I asked those questions because this next entity seems to be able to no-clip parts of their body at will in order to hunt (I think it's an interesting mechanic)

Entity 6 - Dullers

unknown.png

Tier: 9-C

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Limited Spatial Manipulation
(Through no-clipping at will), Body Control (Dullers are able to extend their arms to very far distances), Possible Bodily Weaponry (Dullers are hostile entities that prey on humans and other creatures. However, it is not fully understood how they kill their prey), Limited Intangibility (the Dullers are able to no-clip parts of their body which effectively phase through matter in the Backrooms.)

Attack Potency: Street Level (The Dullers are said to be surprisingly strong for how their bodily structure looks. They should be comparable to other hostile entities such as the Smiler and the Skin-Stealer. While it is unknown how they kill their prey, it is important to note that they do hunt and capture humans, and sometimes take random items, which can go up to twice their own weight.)

Durability: Unknown, Likely Street Level (Are strong for how their bodily structure looks, and are comparable to other hostile entities.)

Speed: Superhuman (Dullers are said to be able to run at extreme speeds, even while holding items that are twice their own weight.)

Lifting Strength: Unknown, Likely Superhuman (While they are said to be very strong and able to hold items twice their own weight, how much Dullers weight is still a mystery.)

Striking Strength: Unknown, Likely Street Class

Stamina: Unknown

Range: Extended Melee Range,
Possibly higher (Dullers, who already have long arms, are able to extend them to very far distances.)

Standard Equipment: None.

Intelligence: Unknown, Likely Animalistic (Their intellect should be comparable to that of other hostile entities such as the Smiler.)

Weaknesses: The Dullers, when not in a hunting tactic, usually run away from anything that gets close. They seem to dislike Almond water and try to avoid places that are abundant of it.

Notable Attacks/Techniques

No-Clip:
The Duller hunts by being in a hall. Once it detects a potential victim on the other side of the wall, in another hall, the Duller will then start no-clipping its arm through the wall, capture and drag them through into their hall.

I think each backrooms continuity should have its own Verse page and Cosmology blog if it ever gets fully accepted

I might go on a scaling spree tonight

memory worm is cool yes

theres also "the thing on level 7" that is 11 thousand meters long. That's above baseline large size type 3!

A cosmology blog for the backrooms would be very interesting, especially there is a level that exists above the 64 integer bit limit that houses the staircase that goes up endlessly without end.

Entity 7 - Jerry

jery.jpg

Tier: 10-C, 9-C via piercing damage, far higher with the Followers of Jerry

Powers and Abilities:

Flight, Bodily Weaponry, Small Size
(Type 1), BFR (Jerry teleports the assimilated into Jerry's Room after a few hours. Jerry also possesses no-clipping abilities.), Mind Manipulation (Those who make physical contact with Jerry without taming him fall victim to his indoctrination.) Spatial Manipulation (Through no-clipping at will), Limited Intangibility (Through no-clipping, Jerry can force people or himself to phase through matter.)

Attack Potency: Below Average Human Level (Jerry is physically a bird, more precisely one that closely resembles the hyacinth macaw parrot.), Street Level via piercing damage, far higher with the Followers of Jerry (Jerry, through indoctrination, has gathered many members in order to create a group named "The Followers of Jerry". The F.O.J has a member count of at least 400 survivors. They have a militarized team. A small number of members are entities such as Facelings. They will protect Jerry at any cost.)

Durability: Below Average Human Level (Is physically a bird)

Speed: Superhuman (Is physically a bird, and is easily able to outrun humans)

Lifting Strength: Below Average Human Level

Striking Strength: Below Average Human Class

Stamina: Unknown,
Likely Peak Human

Range: Standard Melee Range, Interdimensional
with the Followers of Jerry (Jerry's influence reigns across the Backrooms with the help of the F.O.J. Their mission is to take full control of all territories and Levels in the Backrooms.)

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Animalistic

Weaknesses:
Jerry is susceptible to being tamed. This is possible by approaching him slowly with Almond water and sunflower seeds. By taming Jerry, you will not be affected by his indoctrination abilities.

Notable Attacks/Techniques

Indoctrination:
Jerry will make chase when he sees a potential target, and will attempt to indoctrinate them through physical contact.

No-clip: Jerry possesses no-clipping abilities. If the target manages to outrun Jerry, he will cause them to instantly no-clip into the ground. He can teleport indoctrinated people to Jerry's Room.

not going to bother doing the facelings because they're just normal humans but...weird
although there is the memory faceling, which is an interesting one and that is deeply tied to the memory worm
Hounds should scale below other hostile entities such as the Smiler due to their physiology ngl. they're kind of like dogs.

Entity 8 - The Hound

giphy.gif

Tier: 9-C

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Bodily Weaponry, Small Size (Type 0)

Attack Potency: Street Level
(The Hound is one of the many hostile entities of the Backrooms, and is said to have a lot of power despite appearing sickly skinny. They have sharp claws and an extremely large mouth with sharp teeth.)

Durability: Street Level

Speed: Superhuman
(The Hound walks on all fours, and possesses a dog-like nature. It is known to chase after humans.)

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Athlete Class

Stamina: Superhuman

Range: Standard Melee Range

Standard Equipment:
None

Intelligence: Animalistic

Weaknesses:
The Hound is intimidated by direct eye contact, so staring them down is essential. However, this does not work for long.

Try making a user blog for all the previous backroom profiles from this thread onto your fandom account maybe try making profiles for Key master, red knight, hermit and pinhead as well.

Yeah, although there are other levels above Level 9223372036854775807 (the staircase one) for some reason. Plus, the Fandom Wiki has alternate universes.

i think that there are some special entities that scale to the whole Fandom cosmology, which would make them 2-B or possibly 2-A

Let's not discuss anything that came out of fandom wiki. It's a heaping hot mess.

I think I'm going to have to rework some of them sooner or later

Anyways, I think I've done enough low tier entities

Ima go take a look at the higher tier ones

Actually it would be nice if I could just scale all of them by order though
If you want to.

You're going to need to link evidence for the justification for their abilities and stats.
