+ Both are a group of peoples that serves under their respective leaders whose nickname/alias begins with the letter "A" (The Administrator and Ainz Ooal Gown.)
+ Each member within both factions shares similarities in terms of personality, the most notable ones are:
- Highly intelligent and professional muscle heads who, unlike the rest of their team, are gentle and kind-hearted, though they have to carry out the orders of murdering others if it means benefitting the respective sides they belong to (Heavy and Yuri Alpha.);
- Jolly and cheerful yet ruthless and violent enjoyer (Scout and Lupusregina.).
- Calm, professional, collective, yet crazy and violent like the rest of their team (Spy and Solution Epsilon.).

+ Surprisingly, there also seems to be a contrast between the two, and that's:
- The mercenaries are all humans, while the maids are non-humans that take on appearances that make them look human.
- The mercs are hitmens for hire while the maids are combat servants devoted to serving their leaders (their sense of loyalty is in contrast to one another, as while the other side is only in for the money, the others are doing this to appease their masters.)
- Both's group are contrast in genders (The mercs are all males while the maids are females.)
- Both have superior that are also contrast in gender and tends to act professionally than the others (Miss Pauling and Sebastian.)
