Sounds like a good system? If blud is winning solely based on a speed amp, against a character who, in actuality, is 5,000,000,000x quicker than him with said amp, he didn't win shit, he won solely based on an arbitrary rule that exists just so he doesn't lose instantly. Speed equal exists to prevent the slower lads from getting obliterated before they can do anything, NOT to let them cheese an impossible win against someone who would blitz them.

Its not when it invalidates something the character has an advantage on in equal speed matches. This just means we acknowledge the match is a stomp aside from hax but do equal speed just so they're able to fight at the beginning but once a character does speed amps they're only useful if the other character is slower? That's just extra steps to ignore it still being a stomp. Shouldn't be done this way or else we get matches like this where a major ability gets reduced to irrelevance.

Hamon does have to travel, obviously, but certain things can keep that Hamon instead of it dissipating as with rock or metal. Organic matter, would be one such thing. The Hamon does have to reach the grass, but once there, it can stay there. Which is a pretty damning move given Central Park, aka bro can just discharge Hamon all around him and just stays there until Tajiro touches it, unless he can fly, he's touching the ground sooner or later.

Breathing allows them to regulate their blood flow. Wouldn’t breathing help slow down hamon? He was able to slow down the effects of Muzans blood. I looked into it and it should be possible for the nicherin sword to absorb hamon since it acts like sunlight energy it should be empowered by it. Also a blood demon art is energy from the blood of demon yet it was absorbed and retained by tanjiro niceren blade.

Yes, UNLESS, that amp would be quicker, for example.

Dude B is 0.1c.

Dude A is 10x him, he'd blitz his ass. Speed equal tho, they even, Dude B has a 100x amp, he gets to use it, now he's 100x quicker, BUT, it's ok, because that amp would make him 10x quicker than Dude A normally, so he isn't blitzing a dude he wouldn't be able to even with said amp normally.

Tanjiro ain't doing anything with that amp in any situation against Jonathan, ergo, nah. Not that it matters, Gin said it was just perception, not actual physical speed boosting anyway.

What part of "retain" wasn't clear. Match starts, Jonathan exhales once, everything around him is now a no-contact zone, floor is lava basically, Tanjiro touches the ground, bam fried.
He dodges, and then what? The ground will retain the charge, the moment he lands, he's done, if they were fighting on rocky ground or something sure, but wet or lush ground? Nuh uh.

Hamon merely mimics the wavelength of ultra-violet light, but that's all it is, mimicry. It is much closer to say, lightning in everything but a specific property, and even then that isn't quite right. Hamon is actually life force vibrations.

It's quite literally why Hamon still works on humans, humans aren't affected by the UV aspects of it, everything else it can do is free game though.

Yeah no, Nichirin blades absorb sunlight which is the mix of infrared, visible light and UV the sun gives off. Meanwhile Hamon is life energy that mimics UV and behaves like electricity, Hamon isn't some EM wave (it's default speed isn't even SoL) that the Nichirin blades can absorb and arguing so dips into NLF.
