Symphogear Downgrade Attempt

Currently, a fair number of Symphogears scale to an Alca-Noise that "created" a pocket reality of considerable size, but it was really more of a lynchpin, and they couldn't even destroy that without an elaborate team attack. Later in the series, they try to break out of similar pocket realities (without locating/destroying the monster), and seemingly fail to.
While other characters did crate them, this seems like strong evidence against them scaling (even moreso for things below Ignite Module, as the base forms never fight this).

Old thread, but I don’t think this is sufficient enough evidence that they can’t at least fight against and harm them.

How so? The clip explicitly shows the thing being unhurt. Worth mentioning that Chris has above-average attack potency.

Thant's for replying, though.

Discuss it with @Newendigo, I guess, but there's nothing about that clip that downgrades them because they still can all individually harm said Alca Noise. Contributing to outright defeating them in a team attack still upscales them. If they were to be scaled ANY lower, it would apply that they should've never been able to break out to begin with.

I found the galaxy scene archetypically sketchy and the blog I made to justify it was beyond lazy, this whole series either needs a revamp or a deletion.

Its not going to be me the one that does that tho.

The 4A evidence isn't off, though. There were clearly stars in the pocket dimension itself.

I hadn't thought of that (I feel like there would be some gravity), but still, it doesn't seem like the thingamabob scales to the pocket reality.

Breaking out of a dimension or being unable to do so might not prove or disprove AP levels.

Firstly, if a guy creates a structure the size and mass of the planet, and you escape it by breaching one wall, while it certainly makes that guy look like a buffoon it doesn't prove you scale to the creation of the structure. Note: It'd be different if you destroyed the whole structure, obviously.

Second and inversely, if the dimension is the size of the galaxy and is also spatially separate from everything else, you would need two things beyond just AP to destroy it. You would need a galactic range for your area of effect, and you would need spatial manipulation in some form. So being unable to breach it and leave it might not make for an AP anti-feat.

In short, it depends on the properties of the dimension, and requires some ability to rend space and a very large area of effect.
