Bro has HydraAs a wise man once said: it is not hard to solo a Raid Boss if you have the proper equipment!
Or if you just steal the other guy's everything.
But Mario is amped by uh... starbites...!
Please ignore that they're on opposite ends of the growth cycle and thus makes no sense for them to be at all comparable to eachother. And that that's probably not their name I just can't be ****** to look it up
My favorite Hearthstone character, who I was RAWBBED of making it into Warcraft.Bro has Hydra
No we need to just downgrade Bowser for the lolsHe either scales or has plot armor, that's how it works around here
Cool but my boy Hydra mogs
Would be a real shame if Rafaam stole everything it had and beat it to death with it.Cool but my boy Hydra mogs

And stomps (2-C sentient car)
Hydra can knock out Magolor by touching him not even jokingWould be a real shame if Rafaam stole everything it had and beat it to death with it.
Simon The Digger count ur days!!1!1!1!1Mario, Daisy, Peach, and I think Toad(?) have nothing to fear from Lucien since their wills are too strong for him to take advantage of

Skimming the page:I may or may not’ve just found a relativistic travel speed feat, it all just depends on what the manual says about these things
I mean, if the Prima guide's name for them is accepted, I'd say that'd be enough to count it under our light standards (travels in a straight line, explicitly called a laser/light beam, damages objects via heat, overall acts realistically, etc.).Skimming the page:
Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
See also: Lava Bowser
Bowser Statues that shoot lasers from Super Mario Bros. 3 appear in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe called Laser Statues.[7]
"'Laser Statues: While not active during Lap 1, the last two laps activate Bowser statues that fire lasers onto the track." – Musa, Alexander (May 30, 2014). Mario Kart 8 PRIMA Official Game Guide. Prima Games (American English). ISBN 978-0-804-16328-6. Page 130.
Laser Statues in Bowser's Castle
Oh, & there's also the mention of a boss in Mario Tennis Aces.
Mario Tennis Aces
A single Bowser Statue appears a boss in Mario Tennis Aces, fought at Bowser's Castle in the mission Battle the Treasure Guardian!. In battle, the Bowser Statue deploys a forcefield around itself, and launches sets of three fireballs at Mario which must be knocked back; if a fireball is not lobbed back, it becomes a stage hazard. The Bowser Statue will then fire a laser beam that sets the ground ablaze, finishing by firing a giant purple fireball which can be knocked back to deal lots of damage. The Bowser Statue will repeat this process until it is out of health, in which Mario must avoid the oncoming meteors to perform a Zone Shot at the statue's mouth. The statue will then repeatedly shoot streams of fire at Mario, then repeat its ball-serving mechanics, except it will more evenly space out the fireballs it shoots. After Mario fires a Zone Shot at it a second time, it will shoot streams of fire again, except perform a sweeping motion with them. It will then repeat the same ball-serving mechanics it used in the second phase.
After Mario performs the third and final Zone Shot at the Bowser Statue, the Power Stone in its mouth will seemingly disintegrate, and a corrupted Wario and Waluigi take the Power Stone.
IDK how much credit that's worth. Is Prima guide original language, or would we need the original, presumably Japanese version?
& how much credit do we give them for being lasers? From what I can see, they're certainly straight lines of light.
What do you mean by hitscan? & in which game?Aren't those just hitscan in the game?
As someone who grew up with Mario Kart Wii... yes, those lasers are hitscan. And literally telegraphed if you're fast enough to see their start-up.What do you mean by hitscan? & in which game?
The Mario Wiki page says they've been in a lot of games. I quoted the section about MK because it cites an excerpt from Prima:

About the MTA stuff?
In the image?
Pardon any bother, please.
Hitscan: no visible travel time. They just travel the entire distance in one game frame. Meaning speed can't be scaled to them. What do you mean by hitscan? & in which game?

This, yeah. Only reason I can say Travel speed is equivalent to Combat Speed in something like Super Meat Boy is the fact that Meat Boy, Bandage Girl, and Dr. Fetus move and jump and attack in combat with no change to their speed. You might be able to do it as a combat speed feat, frankly travel speed is weird when it comes to platformers but I wouldn't scale it to how fast he runs/jumps in gameplay
Well that'd be the case for Mario too, my problem is that usually the travel/combat speed difference as we create it isn't actually depicted (same as reactions vs combat), it's more an abstraction we create, and IDK if just moving aside from a shot is enough to exit that. But guess at worst it'd have to be burst combat speed. This, yeah. Ok so the ones in Mario 3 aren't hitscan so you can compare Mario/Luigi's running speed to them, but given every other appearance of the statues and their beams are hitscan I don't think the SMB3 version alone is gonna be enough to justify a travel speed rating like that.

What is it with the Mario sports and party spinoffs and giving us the most BS anti-feats known to man?Spent about 10 mins just grabbing speed related stuff I recall off the top of me noggin'
And then there's the MFTL+ feats in the Galaxy duology of course.
- Speed is comparable to, but slower than, Bowser Statue beams (Super Mario Bros. 3)
- Raphael flies to the moon in a few seconds, it's clearly not actual earth-moon distance but still a nice feat (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island)
- Mario & Luigi have to aim dodge lightning bolts, unsure if these could be waived away as magic lightning but worth mentioning (Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga)
- Mario & Luigi seem to perceive a beam of reflected light as it moves (Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga)
- Mario is comparable to, but slower than, Lakithunders lightning bolts, clouds small size makes it so they're not as fast as normal lightning bolts (New Super Mario Bros.)
- Bowser's lightning bolts are hitscan, unsure if these could be waived away as magic lightning but worth mentioning (Mario Party 5)
- Funny black hole minigame (Mario Party 6)
- DK pilots a Booster Barrel into space to catch King K. Rool, reacting to and dodging obstacles as he does so (Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber)
- King K. Rool flies from the centre of the planet to the surface in a few minutes with his Propellerpack (Donkey Kong Bananza)
- Bowser Statue beams are hitscan (Mario Kart 8)
- Bowser Statue beams are hitscan (Mario Tennis Aces)
- Rosalina just performs one of the most blatant FTL+ feats you could ask for lol (Mario Strikers: Battle League)
- I can't be bothered to link to 10 different games atm but the lightning bolt item is natural cloud to ground lightning, especially evident in MK World with it causing thunderstorms, and is hitscan in every single game it's in
It's really funny because they also give us some of the best feats in the series lmao, kinda crazy how Mario Party 4 had a single power star casually rearrange hundreds of stars for the sole purpose of making a constellation in the shape of whoever you beat the story mode with. What is it with the Mario sports and party spinoffs and giving us the most BS anti-feats known to man?
Technically Stars in Mario Party are never referred to as Power Stars. It's really funny because they also give us some of the best feats in the series lmao, kinda crazy how Mario Party 4 had a single power star casually rearrange hundreds of stars for the sole purpose of making a constellation in the shape of whoever you beat the story mode with.

Not going to quote line by line but most of these are calculated, here's some dollars for your thoughtsSpent about 10 mins just grabbing speed related stuff I recall off the top of me noggin'

Apparently Bowser's durable enough to withstand magic attacks that can one shot every other character, including DKIdk if there's anything else notable power scaling wise in Tennis Fever except maybe new Wonder Flower showings but I haven't seen those yet.
Do it. It would be so ******* funny.low key should I become the next villain of Mario power scaling on this site and nuke them to be slower than light? They don't have a whole lot going for speeds like that
