I meant to rate the new movie after I watched it but realised I never did.
As a sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie: about a 6.5-7/10
As an actual Galaxy movie: like a 3-4/10
For anyone who hasn’t seen the movie but plans to, don’t expect it to be an actual Galaxy movie when it comes to the vibes. It also takes elements from lots of different games and does its own spin on some stuff, so it’s better seen as The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 that has a vaguely Galaxy-like plot.
(The blurred stuff is completely spoiler-free and is just the rating + a warning, but blurred just in case)

Oh yeah I saw the movie the other day. I didn't come out of it with a overall negative view, nor will I think about it ever again. To quote my friend, "I've already forgotten most of it, the Fox scenes were cool though".

I watched the movie on release but I've been letting myself ruminate over it to really know how I really feel. It was... alright to me.
The experience was definitely enhanced for me because I went with old friends, but I'm sure it's a movie I wouldn't watch alone.
Overall, probably 5/10 territory.

This is a pretty bad Mario Galaxy movie and it’s also a mediocre film in general hard carried by references and presentation.

My thoughts are probably different from most, I thought it was fun I liked the action scenes I was most in it for the spectacle. The biggest plot issue for me I didn't like was the faked out Bowser redemption I feel it should have been more of a respect thing than him considering going good

And if it wasnt blatant enough I genuinely adore the galaxy games along with the mario series as whole, loved it since I was 3. Did i still smile at some parts? Of course. But as an actual movie and adaptation to the galaxy game, that was really, really, weak.

Even ignoring feats/statements from the movie and just looking at chainscaling, we’re looking at bare minimum an 8-B Mario. He’s definitely this level with power-ups, but you could even argue he downscales from Bowser in base as he gets a couple hits in during a 2v1 against Bowser and Jr. (Yoshi also pelts them both with a couple eggs). Bowser’s current durability is 2.5x baseline 8-B, so base Mario being around baseline 8-B might be on the table.
There’s a couple feats that look tier 8 just by eyeballing it, so we might see an upgrade for Mario even without the Bowser scaling (he’s definitely at least High 8-C in base since he scales to his own durability now).

roselina power is stated to be able destroy planets and the universe in a day
via bowsers jr doomsday machine. Ftl speeds via fox air ship. Peach and roselina putting their hands together was able to instantly turn planet bowser (thing that destroys planets) into a grass planet 8-b to possibly planteary or higher cuz doomsday machine

I agree her design is clearly inspired by Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy, the protector of the cosmos, which inherently places her above the Lumas despite their ability to transform into planets, stars, and even galaxies. As their guardian and overseer, she is portrayed as a superior cosmic entity. her power stated capable of destroying planets and an entire universe within a day originates from her own energy, even if was the doomsday machine that channels it. This should establishes her at least at a planetary level, with strong justification for scaling her much higher, potentially to universal status.

I meant are you crazy in like thinking shes 5-b min physically my bad if message got mis read again im saying her magic powers r 5-b min i think her MAGIC should be higher then that since stated to destroy a universe in a day which isnt a 5-b feat. Also their magic is based on cosmic magic
