I don't know, try asking Schnee One. He's knowledgeable on Prototype so he might know what qualifiers force multipliers needed to have to be accepted for profiles and not disregarded as game mechanics.
For the record, don't ask me, I know a bit of the first game and barely any about the Second

Deathnoodles is much more knowledgable

That's all

I'm not too familiar with Dragon Ball Heroes but you could ask Dark649 or AKM Sama, I think they have some in depth knowledge on the topic.

That is probably a good idea, yes.

I don't think the issues are Game Mechanics. The issue looks to be that the customization looks to be non-canon, and unrepresentative of the actual characters especially if the mode is not address in the story.

If the custom mode is not address in the story unlike most RPGs, then I disagree with the OP.

Elizhaa makes some good points.

I played the game, you have to play a gatcha game to get the equipment, and it's not talked in-story as far as I am (Which is like, the second chapter, but still)

If the custom cards or customizations mode are not addressed at all in the story, as I suspected, then the abilities from customizations are non-cannon so I disagred with the OP.

And yet the force multipliers in Prototype is allowed?

That's the question; are our profiles based on the game character or the story/lore character?

Is Mario having Regenerationn via being squashed ingame an actual thing on the wiki then? If so, how is that related to being 'canon' to the story?

If the customization are canon to the story, it is fine.

I am pretty sure the upgrade are refer as canon because every living thing they consume make them stronger and upgrade abilities are unlocked in the story. So, the case are not the same.

Games profiles are based on what is Cano lore, stories, equipments, and abilities (sometimes gaining all abilities is possible, hence treated as canon), in games

Sorry, I thought the multiplier refers to the statistics multiplier in the upgrade menu. I don't remember if I ever finished the DLC but I do know DLC Story can be canon. In any case, I am neutral on it and the Prototype topic should take place in another thread because it can derail this one.

You unlock more cards throughout the game.
More specifically, completing levels gives you tickets that you can use in the gacha machine to win random cards. The items necessary to create custom cards (not the cards themselves) are obtained either as random completion rewards, or by buying them from the game's shop.

Has anybody done this yet?

@Elizhaa

So are the extra powers an official in-story feature or game mechanics?

Game mechanics, made just to customize the cards

@Antvasima, like @CursedGentleman said, the extra powers are game mechanics.

Okay. Thank you for the input. Should we close this thread then?

Unless DBH breaks the 4th wall and acknowledges itself as a videogame (as in, the characters inside are aware that they are in a videogame and know about the customization), we cant simply give everyone all the abilities just because there is a customization mode. It'd be like giving all the Hyrule Warriors characters the ability to use bombs, bow, etc. just because ingame they are used.

as you can see, we dont

So... This should be closed, yes.

Okay. I will close this then.
