I main Akuma and i play classic, even if im not a pro and need execution, would rather fail and try till i get the hang of it over mashing a button over and over

I also wanna try Ryu in the future if i can

Personally I play Ken in Modern (I also try Marisa even though I have more trouble with her).

So i argued somebody on a topic involving Street Fighter and they use EX series as being canon, they told me this in support of their claim

"There is a catch with EX. It has been recognized as canon in the Shadaloo CRI page. Allow me to explain, in the character files, those who aren't canon or are part of different universes are treated as special characters . In exchange, all the SFEX Cast is treated as the standard one, being listed like all the other characters. But the argument about the EX canonicity gets even better when in the own page is stated that Darun was relevant during the SFV events"

Not familiar on EX to give an immediate response, anybody has some knowledge on that one?

Apparently they are considered side stories

So i wanna bring those up again

We assume its a case of one sided canon like Akuma in Tekken, the FF characters in SF6 and so on? Or we have a bit more ground for canon inclusion given the EX series was having Capcom involved

Zenyatta, Sigma, Winston, and Soldier 76 as Dhalsim, M. Bison, Blanka, and Guile were a given. Ryu was a given, I wasn't sure with who though, Hanzo was nice surprise.

I was thinking Manon for Widowmaker, but yeah, Cammy works. Juno as Chun-Li is alright, I guess (A lot of people wanted Mei, but Juno probably works better given that her melee is a kick).


And then we ******* have Kiriko as Juri for some reason. Two character forced down your throat and also hardly have anything to do with each other (I feel like if you wanted Juri, Sombra would have worked way better). But hey, 52 more skins for Kiriko, I guess

Well they aint friends, but have more respect for each other from last two games then in the past, Gouken also is alive nowadays so the killing part is kinda redundant to hold a grudge to
