Fight between the weakest object on wiki and one of the weakest characters on wiki. The Strawman has the edge in this fight.

  • Pikachu (xkcd) has 10-C Durability, 10-C AP and Below Average LS.
  • Strawman is inanimate.
  • Starting distance is 10 meters.
  • Speed is not equalized
  • Otherwise SBA.

Strawman (3) (User_A_98732165489, Friedoil11, SatellaTheWoE)
Pikachu (xkcd) (0)
Inconclusive (0)

Strawman advantages:
  • Doesn't damage or KO himself
  • Stamina advantage (inanimate object VS below average)
  • Intimidation

Pikachu advantages:
  • Theoretical AP advantage (but can't damage or hit opponent anyways)
  • Speed advantage
  • Intelligence advantage

Both characters can't damage each-other, but Pikachu can easily defeat himself.

If Pikachu uses Super Effective attack, he KO's himself. If Pikachu uses Not Very Effective move, he glues himself to floor - then gets scared of Strawman staring at him in such helpless state and passes out from panic. Pikachu may just repeatedly use various Moves, which can't connect at all, and gets incapped from exhaustion.

Also: Strawman technically is not "in a state in which they can not harm the other fighter", since 1) opponent can damage himself and 2) Strawman can at least do psychological harm (Intimidation). Pikachu (xkcd) in normal state can't deal any harm or damage to Strawman at all. So if "fight" goes on for a day, Strawman wins.

So i vote Strawman.

Wouldn't this be just a stomp? Because if you think about it, if pikachu is the only one that can attack and can only hit himself, how can he win?

Hm. Pikachu could damage opponent if Bloodlusted (since Bloodlust overwrites character's typical behavior), but then it's a Stomp since Strawman would get torn apart...

If Pikachu was with Pokeball, then Pikachu would endlessly summon copies of himself, no one would attack and Pikachus would eventually collapse into black hole - making it Inconclusive...

Pikachu can properly damage opponent with thrown objects - but throwing things at opponent is not it's normal behavior. But in that case Strawman would fall from being hit by basketballs, ending in Stomp...

It's ludicrous to hear that someone would be Stomped by Strawman of all things. What should i change in setup to make it more balanced?

And i did want to test this character at least on something... Do you know any other profiled character who KO's himself?

The only two characters I know that KO themselves are the creeper and bob-omb, but then they would KO pikachu too
Too bad that those two have no Tier overlap.

But what about characters who can uselessly KO themselves? Not in process of KOing enemy, but just "for nothing".

Overall i'd say that it's lopsided fight, but not Stomp. Understand me: it's hard to make battle with inanimate objects that are not Stomps. And successfully Concluding that fight would be a joke in itself.

Checked how Pikachu acts in comic more closely. He pauses fight and stands still if opponent ignores him.

Strawman obviously can't attack Pikachu or react in any way, since he's inanimate. So likely Pikachu would notice it, pause attacking and start complaining about it. In that case, no-one would hit anyone. Then it's just question of who can sit in one place hours-straight for longer.

In such case, Strawman likely wins, as he's inanimate. Unless he gets blown away by wind or something, Pikachu would get hungry and go away.
