Strange teleports the Defenders to one of the previous versions of the multiverse. Doctor Strange range question

The current Defenders comic dropped this week and Strange somehow took them from the current/eighth iteration of the multiverse to the past, sixth iteration of the multiverse. What would the range be for something like this? We are also meeting the mother of Galactus in this arc as well.
