Okay now hear me out
Imagine CJ with every single mod installed
Against Steve from Minecraft with every single mod installed

Who would win this BLOODY battle? Metal Gear Rising Spider-Man shooting cars out of guns while driving the Brazilian Gol Quadrado vs. THICC Steve who can also summon Pokemons and Digimons for some reason?

(Idk if I should link their profiles, don't remember Steve's ability to summon Pokemons written there)

It's kind of difficult to decide this if you count on all the mods, but I would give the victory to Steve, due to the fact that there are mods like Avaritia and magic mods that make the character practically immortal.

Good point

Does Steve have access to all Pokemons and Digimons? also this can actually be a versus match if you set it up correctly

Gonna go by the opening of this to determine their stats

CJ

Key: When using the Spider-Man Mod | When using the Raiden Mod

Attack Potency: Large Building level, Large building level+ with Web Punch | City level+, higher with Ripper Mode

Speed: At least Hypersonic, likely far higher combat, movement and reaction speed | Sub-Relativistic, higher with Blade Mode, at least Relativistic with both Ripper Mode and Blade Mode

Steve

Key: Base | When using the Pokecraft
Mod | When using the Digimon Mod

Attack Potency: Small Building level physically, up to City Block level with Equipment, can ignore conventional durability with Splash Potions | Can range from Small Building level (Most bottom tier Pokemon are this tier), up to Low Complex Multiverse level (With the likes of Arceus) | Can range from Large Building level+ (Most bottom tier Digimon are this tier), up to High Complex Multiverse level (With the likes of Yggdrasil)

Speed: Average Human movement speed, Athletic Human with Swiftness Potion, with Subsonic reactions and combat speed, up to Subsonic attack and flight speed with Equipment, Superhuman movement speed with Horses | Superhuman (Many low tier Pokemon are this fast), up to Immeasurable (Most high tier Pokemon are this fast) | Massively Hypersonic+ (Many low tier Digimons are this fast), up to Immeasurable (Most high tier Digimons are this fast)

Also, Steve has several OP hax with magic mods.

OH I THINK THIS MIGHT BE A BIT OF A STOMP

Steve wins IMO

But what advantage does this bring to CJ?
None, both Steve and CJ lose to the truly OP entity, the player (unless the player controls CJ, in which case CJ stomps since hacking + mods in GTA > hacking + mods in Minecraft by scale.... I think, unless anyone can prove this wrong by showing Minecraft to be stronger than GTA in terms of scale and power both in base and with mods)

To be absolutely honest, I feel like at the end of it, if we're counting ALL mods, it's gonna be a stalemate, since hacking and mods on both sides can only go so far, probably up to deleting each other out of existence or making themselves completely invulnerable, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent within their verses and against each other, so perhaps the deciding factor is scale of GTA vs scale of Minecraft.

Yeah actually, i feel that Steve's speed gives him the win though

Fair enough lol, I change my vote to a tie
I see why that makes sense at base but considering mods, who's to say both are not capable of infinite/immeasurable speed or even omnipresence by sheer powers of hax and mods?
It's kind of difficult to decide this if you count on all the mods, but I would give the victory to Steve, due to the fact that there are mods like Avaritia and magic mods that make the character practically immortal.

I still also want @K4yshey1's opinion as the OP as well as the other members ^(both those replied to and not replied to) here, just to see what they think, since I'm wondering if they agree about the potential for mods and hax giving both characters possibly limitless power (omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence), and if so, I also want to check with them as to which verse is technically larger as well as which verse has more moddability (which verse has more modding capacity/possibilities or more variety of mods or just greater ability to be modded, in other words, which verse can have more mods and hax given to it by virtue of its nature/coding/programming) to give either side a win, unless both are similar in size and similarly hold practically or potentially infinite possibilities of modding, in which case it's really a stalemate/tie/draw.

(on a small side note, in personal opinion, stalemate is probably better to use in this context since tie and draw can mean different stuff in other contexts and are thus more ambiguous in a sense, whereas stalemate, due to being mostly known in a chess and therefore competitive context, would be less ambiguous, but ehh)

  • Minecraft at base has 2-3 GB at base, GTA has about 80. (tbf minecraft is pretty simple compared to GTA.)
  • Minecraft came before GTA and some of Minecraft's mods are even officially supported lol
So, Minecraft maybe? I'm not sure

Comparing both at latest current state:
If GTA has a bigger overall size map-/verse-wise and higher quantity of/more powerful mods overall, GTA wins
If Minecraft has a bigger overall size map-/verse-wise and higher quantity of/more powerful mods overall, Minecraft wins

We should find map sizes and number of ability-increasing mods for the player in both games.

Honestly ill go Steve, the Minecraft map is already huge, and autogenerating, this isnt even including the Nether, or all of those modded dimensions, which greatly expands the world even more. (ahem ahem aether mod ahem ahem)

oh yeah, and you can go underground in MC, making it even bigger

Minecraft has an absurd amount of mods.
There is that mod of magic that allows Steve to just create infinite dimensions with infinite size in a normal versus thread it would be a stomp unless specifically stated which mods count and which don't

nope it says all mods.
I guess 3 votes for Steve, none for CJ lol
