Spider-Man General Discussion

Aren't gas explosions uncalculable from what I'm told? Because I remember requesting a calc for a character surviving a gas explosion and had no luck due to this reasoning

I think the only other things aside from these are just more mobile games.
 
And just a question, do you necessarily need to play the games in order to make the profile for the character? Or is just watching gameplays for feats okay?

I personally don't think we need the DS port versions of stuff like SD, Raimi Games, or WoS which is probably due to my bias of how titling those would look really awkward. Rise of the Imperfects is a must. Mentioning Contest of Champions gave me flashbacks to when I played that for a considerable period

I’ve seen the PSP version and on a closer inspection, it actually does have some noticeable differences from the main one

Keep in mind, I only included specific alternate versions of SM2 and SM3 because the Official Strategy Guides that Activision themselves play a large part in putting together have bonus guides for said versions. If the PSP one was in the guide, I would’ve taken some info from there for the Raimi Games page. But since it isn’t, I think it’s safer to ignore it

I would still like to have them since they are different continuities with different Scaling and Abilities.

The only argument that could be brought up is that the S-02's two different statements that make it superior to the S-01 could apply to the Belgium feat. But the Belgium feat is implied to be with the totality of the S-01's arsenal (AKA, not just a simple attack)

The scaling isn't the issue, its the feat's intentions

Oh, I know that scaling isn't an issue, but here's how I see it

S-02 has no statement about a full arsenal, but the S-01 does. The S-01 is said to have the arsenal to level Belgium, yet the S-02 is stated to be superior in every way. So without a full arsenal, wouldn't its regular attacks be High 6-C? Eh....

My hesitance with that feat is that when Peter mentions how Oscorp Tower is designed to survive a 9.5 magnitude Earthquake, he follows up with “don’t hold your breath”

Gonna elaborate a bit on this. Not doubting what you're saying, just better to say this now rather than later

In the battle against Shocker, Herman says he'll bring all of Oscorp Tower down if he has to do so. Spider-Man says that might not be a bad idea considering the stuff they make there, but its designed to survive a 9.5 Earthquake, so he shouldn't hold his breath

I know we've been looking at a lot of different Spider-Man games to make profiles for but what about revising Insomniac Spidey and other pages in that verse? It could use a lot of clean up and there are a good few feats that haven't been calced for it yet.
