Spider-Man General Discussion

Would Spider-Man scale to the giant robots physicals? It seems like he hurts it at the end but i'm not sure
I'm back with an answer

Yes, he should. The initial web attacks were only being shielded by its makeshift armour. After being trapped, the robot is shown taking direct damage from Spider-Man's web attacks, unarmoured

Vulture's appearance in the Homecoming VR game is hilarious. Just comes in out of nowhere, destroys part of a crane, says "You're messing with things you don't understand", and flies off

That's pretty good, since the robot seems to have gotten to New York by falling (based on the position it's in innitialy) which would yield a good result considering it's weight i reckon

NWH but game villains are sent through: Smythe gets sent to the MCU before he's killed by his Spider Slayer, thus creating the S-04 and destroying New York City before the 3 Spiders and Strange have to call in Banner

Also love how they describe the Vulture encouter "Sling high above the city in a dramatic confrontation before pursuing Spidey's deadliest enemy."
And in the game man literally just shot once and dipped

Brah think he the “New York Attacker” 😭
He gonna have to fight the Colossal Enemy for the title
That crane feat is the best bet for an LS rating
Yeah, this Spidey might at least have a good LS rating from that and his webs catching the Colossal Enemy
Also i think it's cool how this version of Spidey relies of web shooting for combat a lot more than other versions (because of VR limitations but still), he's bringing something new to the table for Spideys with that at least

Raimi Games Spider-Man’s greatest opponent: Venom

TASM Games Spider-Man’s greatest opponent: Carnage

VR Spider-Man’s greatest opponent: Colossal Enemy/The New York Attacker
Jokes aside i think The New York Attacker is actually pretty formidable
-Has an army of drones to support it
-Has lasers that can shut down Spideys web-shooters (probably other tech too)
-Is massive and can casually cause massive damages
I firmly believe it has the potential to be a threat

TBH, not a bad powerset for an original enemy created for a VR movie tie-in

Man i kinda want to make a profile for the robot now
The only thing making it difficult is the lack of official name, but i guess i could just title the page "Giant Robot (Spider-Man Virtual Reality Experience)"

There's the mention of "the list" in the FFH VR game, which is a reference to the one we see Peter with in the MCU. Ned tells Peter to just "finish the mob thing" before they can hang out (a reference to him having the defeat of the crime family on his list). Peter pretty casually says he's right and he'll handle it. Its semi-implied that Peter took care of that between the segment in his room and the swinging part prior to his encounter with the robot. Either way, he treats the one-man takedown of a mob casually, so that'll be worth bringing up as a skill feat

New York Attacker >>>>>>>>>>>>

Man i had no idea what that was about, VR Peter really be pulling out the most casual skill feat of any Spidey

I'm thinking of listing that and Colossal Enemy under the Name section and mentioning it's been referred as that
That's fair
Disappointing, it's gotta be up there at least tho right?
Its not a bad feat by any means, but like, there's a lot more impressive showings from other Spider-Men

Even an early MCU Spider-Man stomped two military experts at the same time prior to the Homecoming VR games release. Plus that casual takedown of a mob is something he could do too

Marvel's Avengers Spider-Man defeated AIM's elite teams, who would be comparable if not superior to the highly trained soldiers and combatively adept AIM personnel that often deal with rioting crowds, policing, and security actions

Takuya waged and won a one-man war on an army responsible for the destruction of civilizations across the galaxy for over 400 years

MvC Spider-Man is viewed as a rival in the eyes of Ryu, who is considered more skilled than the mercenary Taskmaster (to the point where Ryu is deemed “the pinnacle of human perfection” in comparison in the words of Super-Skrull) who can replicate any physical movement/fighting technique simply be looking at it without the need for practice, no matter how complex it is. Furthermore, his analytical abilities allow him to predict attacks and tell if opponents have hidden weapons with a glance without any clear or obvious indication that there are any. Taskmaster has literally copied moves from Peter, yet Spidey’s still on a level noticeably above Taskmaster in skill. MvC Spider-Man also defeated a nearly 5000 year old battle hardened mutant while Ryu is considered by Iron Fist to be a worthy successor while believing Strider Hiryu (an over 1000 year old Ninja Mercenary) to be unimpressive

These are only four examples and I haven't even listed all the skills feats for these versions of Spider-Man. And there's definitely more versions of Spider-Man that would outskill VR Spider-Man

Poor VR Spidey, i thought he at least had that going for him
He kinda seems to be below average to average in almost everything as far as Spider-Men go

What about the other Movie Game Spider-Men

That reminds me, anyone remember that old The Amazing Spider-Man flash game that as there to promote the movie? The 2d one, where you run across the rooftops collecting pieces of the new suit.

He kinda seems to be below average to average in almost everything as far as Spider-Men go
-His AP feats seem to be in the 9-A ballpark mostly, maybe 8-C depending on how good the New York Attackers feats are, either are common for Spideys to land in
-His crane feat seems like Class 10 or 25 by eyeing it, pretty standard if not even low for a Spidey, and his webbing would probably be Class K or M for holding the Colossal Enemy, also standard
-His Speed seems Peak Human on foot maybe? and his web swinging speed is probably Superhuman to Subsonic, low for a Spidey for sure
-His Skill is impressive but he's outdone by other Spideys as mentioned above
-His Experience seems pretty poor, he's only ever taken on 2 super villains from the looks of it (i'm guessing he fought Vulture between the two games, but the details are unclear)
-He only has the default Spider-Man abilities besides having multiple web types, but there are other Spideys who have versatile webbing too

-His Skill is impressive but he's outdone by other Spideys as mentioned above
I could list more, but it would border on me looking as if I’m bullying VR Spider-Man and I don’t wanna do that

In Homecoming VR, Karen states the crane is 400 feet away from his current position. Peter travelled up there pretty fast

Oh i didn't catch that one (i kinda skimmed through both of the games if imma be honest)
Quick calc gives me 155.64m/s, still Subsonic but high up there at least

I'd also wanna point out the 9-B feat is super close to 9-B+ aswell
I think i'm also gonna calc Spidey shattering the robots concrete armor later, that could yield a nice result too
And i'd also wanna calc the Colossal Attackers lasers since they seem to move quite fast
After I get the Raimi Games Spider-Man and TASM Games Spider-Man pages up (could be very soon as an hour or so), I’ll begin drafting up VR Spider-Man’s stuff

As silly as the Firelord incident was, Spider-Man choosing to confront an Avengers-level threat by himself kinda goes hard
