Christ, I feel like this may be a terrible idea...

We need to discuss if this scales. It's a legitimate .24 c feat, and given that Pokemon well below that are .034 c, it's not an outlier, but we need to discuss two things:

One, should we scale from the manga? I'd say yes, as we've opened up scaling to the anime for normal Pokemon, so the manga shouldn't be an exception, and Satoshi Tajiri said that it's most accurate to how he wanted Pokemon to be. And given that we've considered scaling Pokemon to the feats of Deliberd and the manga!Starters, it's not something that was just brought up.

And two, should Pokemon scale from Red's Poliwrath? Again, I say yes. Our profiles take Pokemon at their potential peaks, as they're a species (save for a few exceptions). Poliwrath doesn't have a higher peak potential than any other Pokemon of its caliber. An Arcanine can be just as, if not around as fast or as strong as said Poliwrath. And before anyone asks, Pikachu (Anime) is a main protagonist with the power of relevancy, allowing it to defeat Pokemon well out of how any other Pikachu would logically behave, and Lucario (Mystery of Mew) is already an anomaly, being able to talk. From what I can remember, Pokemon Adventures doesn't have any special snowflake other than that one Eevee, who was experimented on to be a special snowflake.

The last point completely false. Dex holder pokemon especially red (the trainer (edit: my bad hes the battler although the point would remain the same). Meaning hes the best at training pokemon and by proxy the best at making pokemon powerful) are far above the normality OF the species. Dex holder pokemon can fight legendaries when pushed or at a life or fatal event. And poliwrath is reds best. Also giovanni with a beedril that > lance or yellow with dbz power reactive evolution pokemon.

Although the feat does probably scale.

Yeah his first. Also his highest trained (poli had the highest canon lv listed). And many his ace at points depending on when within the manga.

Edit: ah shit. Saur beats him out as of oras apparently.

Shoot. I almost forgot that levels existed in this. Poli's only level 80. Level 100 Pokemon who are 6-C (which are all of them, due to SBA) would undoubtedly scale, imo.

He was 80 as of frlg though. And this poliwrath a produgy among poliwrath the same way ash and pikachu a prodigy among pikachu from anime.

The feat scales although only because of emerald fighting poluwrath with frontier (normal pokemon) given pokemon .

Following. I am neutral, even though I will say that the Sub Rel feat we already scale from bothers me. I'll wait for more input before giving a solid opinion.

@Dragon

Why does it bother you? Is there something wrong with the calc?

Also looking back at the calc, to me it looks like the beam curves towards poliwraths belly.

... Isn't Lucario's supposed to be higher due to powering up Mew? I do remember that Ash, that Aura user dude and Lucario's gave their aura or life force, to Mew.
