Speed Question

What speed is this? It's stated to move so fast that it can warp through space and time (though it sounds like they're saying it's so fast it moves purely through jumps in spacetime). Generally in most fictions that use the concept of achieving some type of warp travel via speed involve sub-light/LS/FTL speeds, and the closest example I can imagine is Savitar ragdolling Flash.

I don't think it's a specific speed. If I had to guess, it could be one of the ratings that begins with an I being accessed for short bursts, but it seems more like teleportation.

Just seems like teleportation. If it were capable of going anywhere it wants in time it would be Immeasurable.

Thinking about it though, teleportation through speed is Infnite.

Well I'm unsure that it is actually teleportation due to the previous sentence being "and you get a freak that's moving so fast it ain't even moving under its own power anymore", implying speed is still being used.

My guesses are fast enough to create wormholes (generally around light speed in theory), and Assalt's first and second suggestions.

Based on the description though it seems the video I provided is the best representation of what is happening.

It says it warp space-time to make a short cut, to despite it takes a small amount of time, it isn't speed, it is teleportation.

@Assault, just Instant Teleportation, not all teleportation have to be instant.

Because of the context though, it isn't just simple teleportation which was what I think Assault was getting at. Whatever jumps it does through space, is a product of the massive speed it has. Having high enough speed doesn't automatically turn said speed into teleportation, which is what he was getting at with infinite speed.

It also says "you get a freak so fast it ain't even moving under its own power anymore" and the very next line says "This sucker uses raw demonic power to do little space-time jumps", which is contradictory.

Its more like it can do these jumps due its "raw demonic power", I guess it gained that power cuz of its evolving qualities, but not by shear speed alone. I also dare to say that Infinite Speed would be an outlier for said verse, and in order to use SoL as speed you would need statements that explain that.
