Soul destruction= Existence Erasure?

If a character can literally destroy souls that is existence erasure?

Thanks in advance.

Note: Souls are free from physicall bodies.

If the affected one has a soul (a depends of it, that is almost always the case), then its essentially the same, with the difference that EE left no trace.

The body can still remain. Plus Existence Erasure isn't equal to Soul Destruction as it can work on soulless beings, i.e. no soul is destroyed in the process.

One can't manipulation what is not there, if any, the character have a power that have Soul Manipulation as a sub-power (i.e, Life-Force Manipulation). Only way to manipulation the soul of the soulless is giving it a soul (they aren't necessary immune to that).

The effect is pretty much the same even if corporeal. Its like the guy killed by a heart stab and the one burned to ash, in both cases, is dead no matter the cause.

Well, in your example, the former can still get up. That's exactly what happens in Fate/stay night. Dude destroys his own heart and still keeps going. Sufficient Regenerationn can also take care of it, but getting burned to ash is much worse.

... I'm talking about a normal human, no one can't survive a stab in the heart. Similar thing happens here, if one soul is unmade along or not its physical vessel is kinda irrelevant, with no additional survival power, the user is by all means erased from existance.

Is not the standard assumption, no, otherwise people that resiste erasure would resist matter, mental and soul manipulation with no proof whatsoever.
