Doesn't Palkia only nukes spirit with Dialga? And, nuking spirit =/= killing ghosts. In USUM Cyrus is able to make his timeline be devoid of spirit, and since we see this Cyrus, he's very much alive and well, just with th having no emotions

That said, Spatial Rend will cut Sonic in half regardless of durability so yeah...

i mean yeah Palkia's space manip is definitely above baseline as it should absolutely scale above the likes of normal pokemon and UBs (Ub's can casually cut/punch holes in space). He kinda just cuts the poor dude.

he still has NPI so that ain't a problem for him. Cyrus did succeed but that means the logical, he simply made a world for himself. AKA he just didn't use it on himself. In one of the Pokemon Generations official animations Cyrus goes into the Distortion world that according to his words in the animation and all the ingame evidence has no spirit and Cyrus likes it there and just stays there, suggesting that he wants to exist in that world rather than just be gone himself as well. And also, Palkia and Dialga were indeed casually erasing the world and all of the concepts mentioned just by standing there.
