WE ******* WON

Ah yes, infinite universes. Classy.

Ian Flynn was won. He successfully managed to push 2-A Sonic multiverse agenda into the official canon unironically without consistency issues. Now you have to use fanfiction scaling to stand a chance to beat them. All the while they pretend how Ian "celebrates Sonic" when in reality he helped solidify the Nu Amy agenda in games he's written. I don't care how "justified" it is just because X Amy sucks, trying to write Nu Amy is a real slippery slope that he should stop.

But since history is written by winners, there is nothing we can do.

"Sonic Racing Cross World is a race battle that transcends dimensions where infinite worlds intersect. The vibrant world of Sonic and numerous other works are connected by the Travel Ring to create a multiverse where new adventures, unpredictable races and frenzied competition await." Pretty cool stuff

I'm interested to see the next line of cope around how Sonic doesn't scale to the cosmology, in all seriiusness. And I say this with as little spite as possible, some of those mental gymnastics require medals.
We're still not immortalized since we don't scale to regular capeshit characters without consistency issues yet.

Anyways shitposting aside, the only real counter against this you can properly pull for now is some lacking context in areas + it says "Sonic and other worlds" implying the possibility of it being Sonic cosmology + other cosmologies. Then again, Tailstube hinted at infinite universes existing as a possibility anyway so this is probably the natural follow up on that. Meaning Ian's master plan is likely working out and he's Sosuke Aizen.

THE INFINITE COSMOLOGY IS REAL!!!

This isn’t impossible. The interview that Executor linked earlier also specifies that other Sega franchises are involved in the game.

Yeah, someone I know is still holding a few doubts because of the context or lack their of, and the potential implications of infinite worlds in this case. Since it could include other SEGA worlds and shit that aren't inherently Sonic's cosmology. But we shall wait and see.

Everyone when Sega confirms all their properties share a single cosmology, the Segaverse, putting Sonic at Negative Multiversal level.

It'll all exist within the DC and Marvel cosmologies which will only amp up the overall degree of outerversal regular capeshit characters scale to.

Aaaaaand the brainrot is back lol.

Also that excuse of other cosmologies doesn't seem to work unless they have, like, Persona or some shit in there. But last I checked the main contenders for crossovers (NiGHTS, Samba de Amigo, Billy Hatcher, etc.) either have unimpressive cosmologies (Billy Hatcher) or are already confirmed to share a setting (NiGHTS).

These doubters will be the first one to say "Well I never SEEN Sonic blow up a planet, so he's still town level fodder L" yet dickride Goku and don't apply their same logic when scaling other verses to their own Dragon Ball scaling.

Shin Megami Tensei being canon to Sonic would be so funny.

We shall see the context once the game is out. We shall see what brainrot it confirms, and what it deconfirms. For now, it's brainrot theory time on what the context will include.

PS, what's the Nights setting/cosmology setting based on again? I think I heard a bit on it, but IDK the details of how Sonic and Nights are possibly connected cosmology wise beyond easter eggs.

Solaris grows in appetite by the day.

Zamn. Well congrats on the (most likely) explicit proof of an infinite multiverse with infinite speed as well. There's likely no denying it now. Good day for Sonic. The fact it comes from a damn racing game is so ******* cursed however.

I called it though

I won't share yet because we aren't ready for that conversation yet. But when we're prepared then I might say what I was thinking.

A RACING GAME? Of all the upgrades, we get an infinite multiverse from a RACING GAME
