this thread was closed, but I did have something quite important to add to it
I'm not actually trying to start the debate up again (god, never again) but this is just in case there is any last minute changes of mind or extra consideration

this is pretty self explanatory, and of course implies that crazy diamond is at least somewhat close to star platinum in speed and precision, and we at least know from the rat fight that his precision is similar, only being slightly lower but he does manage to bullseye the rat in the end, so that does increase the credibility of the statement, and maybe you could argue author intent that crazy diamond is like a "close second" to star platinum physically, but that's not really what I'm basing this off of so
right after this though, chili pepper does get kinda blitzed by Josuke, but he says himself that he underestimated the speed of crazy diamond, mainly because of crazy diamond's range and the fact that stands get weaker the farther away they are
Josuke also says that the attack he did is "nothing like Jotaro's star platinum"
those things don't really mean much though because both characters in the scene are being casual, since Josuke does get hit right after this, but it's shown later on that Josuke is definitely able to beat chili pepper's speed (before he takes all of morioh's electricity of course)
of course, chili pepper states and implies many times throughout the parts that he is going to defeat Jotaro
and of course, we already know that angry crazy diamond is capable of fighting star platinum, but that scene still was ambiguous enough for people to come up with reasons why it didn't make him scale at all
but red hot chili pepper luckily provides a ton of statements of comparing himself to star platinum and comparing crazy diamond to star platinum
I'm probably gonna rewatch part 4 because of this, since there's possibly gonna be more evidence of ftl+ part 4
but that's gonna take a while so just thought I'd share this before then
if you're gonna say that koichi says chili pepper is lightspeed and other anti ftl+ arguments though then by all means, read that disaster of a thread and you'll probably find my existing answers for that
