【 Rover's profile 】
This is my first thread on this site, so I hope it's decent. I also appreciate your patience with my lack of experience and knowledge of the site's standards.
I noticed that some gameplay mechanics already serve as valid evidence for abilities on profiles. Therefore, I believe Rover should gain a few more abilities, drawing from his Resonator kits and other elements.
Spectro Rover
1- Status Effect Inducement,
Spectro Rover should gain Status Effect Inducement, as he is capable of inflicting Spectro Frazzle on opponents. This status continuously deals damage over time after being applied, making it a straightforward case of a harmful status effect.
2- Statistics Amplification,
Spectro Rover should also receive Statistics Amplification, as part of his kit allows him to increase his own Attack. He can also do this with AERO and HAVOC.
--------
Havoc Rover
1-Energy Restoration,
Havoc Rover should gain Energy Restoration, since his kit allows him to restore his own Energy whenever he successfully lands attacks on enemies.
--------
Rover (Aero)
1-Healing,
Aero Rover should gain Healing. This is supported both by gameplay, where his Liberation heals allies, and by the story, where he heals Phrolova while she is on the verge of death.
2- Status Effect Removal??????
Aero Rover is capable of removing negative status effects, and can also convert those removed effects into different statuses. I'm not entirely sure what the correct classification should be, but this seems to qualify for some combination of Status Effect Removal, Power Nullification, or another related ability?????????
3- Power Nullification
Aero Rover should also receive Power Nullification, as he is able to negate Adam Smasher's abilities while they were being amplified by the laws of the Somnoire.
4- Resistance to Statistics Reduction
Aero Rover should gain Resistance to Statistics Reduction. According to Mornye, Rover was unaffected by Adam Smasher's ability to weaken incoming attacks, allowing him to maintain their original power despite the suppression effect.
5- Resistance to Paralysis (+ Possibly Resistance to Deconstruction),
During Phrolova's story quest, we learn more about the nature of her abilities. She explains that everything is composed of frequencies and that she is capable of altering the state of those frequencies.
After defeating several enemies within the Orchestra, their bodies visibly begin to break apart, undergoing what appears to be a form of deconstruction. In addition, Phrolova is shown to be capable of paralyzing her targets.
During her final battle against Rover, Phrolova strikes him multiple times, including with her Orchestra Flower, producing the same paralysis effect. However, Rover almost immediately breaks free and continues fighting without remaining immobilized.
Because of this, Aero Rover should receive Resistance to Paralysis inducement.
Additionally, if Phrolova's ability to dismantle her opponents is accepted as Deconstruction, Rover may also qualify for Possible Resistance to Deconstruction, as he was directly affected by the Orchestra Flower yet was able to continue fighting. Furthermore, it is mentioned that the enemies Phrolova attacks simply die after a few hits, which reinforces my point.
