I guess Simon has more going on for him considering that in his current interation on vs wiki he can kill monsters who shatter doors (516644.24 joules ) and he has dealt before with enemies with glocks so i don't think it should be too much of a problem taking a bullet, so i think that Simon has a pretty clear advantage durability advantage on his side.

Not to talk about that Simon has more hax advantage with the camera and the book grants him 9-A ap, so on my opinion 8/10 times Simon has the edge over Daryl.

So i guess you should take him away the camera and the book off the matchup if you don't want to vaporize Daryl alive, because unless you do that the matchup would be like:

-Simon takes the book

-Daryl starts shooting him

-Simon tanks some bullets but he uses the book anyway

-Daryl gets vaporized to ashes

Simon gaps easily. He could use the digital camera on Daryl and he's cooked.
