Should the DCU verse page be separate?

Title, I was gonna update the DCEU page since it looks like it hasn't been touched ever since Black Adam, but was unsure how to proceed.

If it is gonna be the same name, should the verse page be called DCU now?

It's a new continuity we already have a discussion thread for it but don't overwrite the DCEU page into the DCU those are two different cinematic universes so they will be seperate

I'm open to either tbh, but if I had to pick, I'd say create a new verse page. Maybe also link to the new verse page on the DCEU on?

No? Why would it need to be a CRT for them having a new film universe?

They aren't connected so like there's not really any content to revise? Unless you mean a CRT for establishing a verse page for the new universe but for that we'll wanna have profiles ready and produced before we make a verse page anyways

Actually I guess maybe at most just a CRT for having Peacemaker S1 and The Suicide Squad also being on the DCU verse page since those two are DCU Canon (outside of the justice league appearance and some other minor stuff)

Well, it's best to get relevant precedent established, and it would be clearer to all wiki whatever direction we went through and for what reasons, rather than having to sift through a Discussion Thread :v

Anyways if its a discussed topic idm, I'll update the DCEU page accordingly.

I suppose just for the formalities then sure (I don't mind really) but yeah just a simple different universe so new verse page and additions to the DC article for it will need to be created accordingly when its all ready

The character played by the same actor is confirmed to be canon but not the entire events if the movie unless they are referenced so for now its fine as light canon

And it’s been confirmed that a Blue Beetle animated series is happening, written and produced by the same people who did the movie, and building on the events of the movie.

It is tho, It came out before TLK and was intended as a dceu movie. It doesn't contridict either and it's not like dceu projects can't also be dcu since Peacemaker exists.

It’s like Peacemaker Which is in a weird state of being held as canon to both, though I’d note Gunn has claimed stuff like TSS should be taken as “canon but imperfect memory” which would likely apply to Blue Beetle as well
