Shockwaves from attack collisions?

Regarding the shockwaves from attack collision, is there a way to calc the power output the attacks contain?

Also, Do you guys think that there's more power output on the attacks themselves compared to the power output of the shockwaves caused by attack coliding on something?

What's the take on this?
