Gin has intel over Hirako's abilities, doesn't he? So it should be easy to avoid his shikai and through ranged attacks kill him, pretty much the same way he fought ichigo. So my vote goes to Gin.

I do not believe Gin has intel over Hirako's abilities since Aizen himself seemed surprised on the fact, yet quickly made mincemeat on him after saying it was a disgrace compared to his.

Gin doesn't have Intel on his Shikai initially, however he soon will when Shinji explains the shit out of it.

I'm going to give Shinji the benefit of the doubt that when he explains his powers, it'll make the opponent even more confused and mess up. The only people who has countered it, IIRC, is Aizen (because he is Aizen) and Bambietta, the latter being able to spam omnidirectional bombs.

I'll still give it to Gin though. Shinji is going to get downgraded to Town level so he won't be able to hurt Gin.

gin takes this the hollowfication of hirako isnt gonna protect him from his bankai but if shinji uses shikai gin might need to spam hits

Im sure his base strength was stronger than ichigo in karakura so his hollow mask will increase his power much more than ichigo if he goes against Gin
