Db's official sources say that Shin is comparable to Goku in the Cell games, and Shin was defeated by Dabura which is comparable to Cell Perfect and Gohan SSJ2 from the Cell games is superior to Cell Super Perfect.... This is a Stomp
 
Gohan gets rekd

Both should be relatively equal in stats, but Shin has much higher versatility

And the most important thing, Shin could restrain SSJ2 Gohan who is > this one

SSJ1 Gohan from Cell Games is superior to Perfect Cell and the latter is comparable to dabura and Dabura basically could toy with Shin, so gohan is still stomp
 
and yes, the gohan of the buu saga is so weak that he loses against his version of the cell games, not counting Potential Unleashed since this is by far the strongest gohan.

That's not accepted, Gohan is only High 4-C whereas Perfect Cell is High 4-C+

When Gohan and Dabura were fighting Goku and Vegeta said some things 1. That dabura was compared to Perfect Cell and Gohan was fighting in SSJ2 against dabura and this was barely on par with him and Gohan SSJ1 of the cell games was comparable to perfect Cell, only that this never fought seriously until the death of Android 16 and 2. Vegeta said that Gohan SSJ2 from the Buu saga was too weak compared to the one in the Cell games, since even in SSJ2 he couldn't beat Dabura, who in their words was comparable to the perfect Cell.
 
Shin is like >>> piccolo post buu > cell saga piccolo.
Gohan is > SSJ Goku >>> 50% SSJ Goku >>> Cell saga piccolo and everyone else.
Shin also shat himself after hearing dabura's name while SSJ Goku could fight perfect cell and fatigue him who's equal to dabura, while gohan is stronger than that, he just doesn't have a strong desire to fight. So Voting gohan.

I don't know why you keep saying SSJ Gohan is comparable to Perfect Cell when the series made it clear that Perfect Cell stomped him. Also, this is what Cell profile says
At full power, Cell is far stronger than any of the Z-Fighters, including SSJ Goku and SSJ Gohan, and is capable of casually toying with both. He is outclassed only by SSJ2 Gohan

Goku was inferior to perfect cell and this one could give him a lot of battle, but he decided to give the place in the fight to Gohan since by Goku's words, Gohan was much stronger than him and also Gohan never fought seriously as SSJ1, only as SSJ2 and by Goku's words, Gohan SSJ1->Goku SSJ1.
 
Anyway, Shin = Goku from the Cell games and Gohan by Goku's words is far superior to him. So Gohan wins
 
It all boils down to the fact that they say that Perfect Cell stomps SSJ1 Gohan, first of all Perfect Cell does not stomp SSJ1 Goku, in fact Cell was superior to Goku but Goku gave him a lot of battle... Even Goku said he would not be enough to defeat him. and Gohan SSJ1 is far superior to Goku SSJ1 (Goku's words) but he never fought seriously against cell until the death of Android 16.
 
Cell could've easily stomped Goku but he chose not to because he wanted to prolong the fight. I assume you're referring to suppressed Cell then, because Cell was holding back against Goku.

Many things wrong here, Shin was able to restrain Gohan in SSJ2 of the Buu saga, this is comparable to Dabura who in turn is comparable to Perfect Cell, if we take into account that Gohan SSJ1 of the Cell games was much more superior than Goku SSJ1 the most we can expect that this is comparable to Perfect Cell, but as he never fought seriously in SSJ1 everyone says that he is still completely inferior. Shin could only suppress that Gohan, he couldn't do anything else, Gohan SSJ2 from the Buu saga was on par with Dabura and i remarked again that Dabura is comparable to perfect Cell and Vegeta remarked that Gohan is not at all comparable to the time he fought cell, so we can expect Gohan SSJ1 from the Cell games to be equal or superior to the Gohan SSJ2 that was fighting with dabura... This ends with Gohan Stomps Shin.
 
In short... Shin = Goku SSJ1 from the Cell games, and Gohan SSJ1 is much stronger than Goku SSJ1, and again Gohan SSJ1 should have the same level as Perfect Cell but as he never fought seriously in SSJ1 everyone says that he is still completely inferior.... Dabura = Perfect Cell and Dabura Toy with Shin...

So Dabura = Perfect Cell = Gohan SSJ1 from Cell Games ≥ Gohan SSJ2 from Buu Saga -> Goku SSJ1 from Cell Games = Shin

Gohan was left bewildered after Goku powered up to fifty percent for Korin, as he believed he had much more power to spare.
During the battle against Cell, Gohan perceived Goku as though he was not even trying despite trying his hardest.
Gohan, despite refusing to fight back and engage with Cell seriously, managed to stand a better chance than Goku did against it.

This is incorrect and contradicts what vegeta said ..... When gohan SSJ2 was fighting against dabura, vegeta said that the gohan who fought against cell was stronger, and you could say that he was referring to Gohan SSJ2, but no since Dabura = Perfect Cell so it can't be Gohan SSJ 2 if not SSJ1, So Gohan SSJ1 from the Cell games is stronger than the Gohan SSJ2 who fought against Dabura in the Buu saga.

No he was clearly refering to SSJ2 gohan from the cell saga, because gohan was using SSJ2 against dabura, vegeta's disappointed because gohan who was far stronger than SPC in SSJ2 as a kid is now barely as strong as someone on regular perfect cell level.

No. Gohan SSJ2 was fighting on par against Dabura and Dabura is comparable to Perfect Cell and Vegeta said that when Gohan fought Cell he was stronger, but he could not be referring to Gohan SSJ2 because Dabura is Comparable to Perfect Cell.... Gohan SSJ2 and Super Perfect Cell are far strongers than Dabura and Gohan SSJ 2 from Buu saga

SSJ Goku was only stated to be weaker. It is unknown how much weaker. That's my point. Something is clear is that Gohan was far superior to Goku because he had SSJ2 as an ace up his sleeve.

Vegeta made that statement after Gohan went SSJ2. So he referred to SSJ2, not SSJ1.

The reason why vegeta was referring to SSJ2 gohan is because gohan was using SSJ2 vs dabura, why would he bring up a weaker version of gohan? He also said the exact same thing when gohan went SSJ2 vs kibito so his opponent at the time is not a factor.

Kaio Shin's Abilities

Despite hiding his strength when they first met, Goku suspected that he was no ordinary person. Although he has unusual abilities, he doesn't seem to surpass the Supersayians in strength. Judging by the precautions he takes with Dabura, who has a similar level to Cell, it can be deduced that he has the same strength as Goku during the Cell Game. Later on, his power increases when he fuses with Kibito, but even then he couldn't fight Buu with guarantees.
