He doesn't start with that, considering it injures himself he won't use his big ending move till he gets pushed there.

Then I question how he will deal with Akame blade at that distance.

Shigaraki is highly skilled, and is smart enough to know that disarming a bladed opponent immediately is the best tactic he can use, so if Akame goes for a generic swing, he's likely to grab the blade, and receive a minor cut.

This would be the perfect tactic.....If this didn't kill him if he did that.

Can he decay the sword and catch it ? Pretty sure he can't but that'd be cool.

While he wouldn't do big massive decay he would still start with decaying the ground like what he did when he first started fighting Re-Destro.

I don't know if he'd grab the blade, though I guess he might try to decay it. Could he decay her blade at the same time as he's cut, if so it'll spread through the sword to Akame.

I see zero reason he can't, Akames blade doesn't resist Decay

Would that be an inconclusive, his decay would spread to her from the sword. The rate of Decay is very fast.

It can be dodged but like he'll keep on doing it and I think with Shiggy's pretty good speed advantage and stamina he can just outlast and tire her out.

No if he grabbed the blade he would get cut, and that kills him

Very fast isn't fast enough as the cut is made the moment contact is made.

Also he has literally no knowledge of the blade so him avoiding it to the point if not touching it is a tad reaching.

Also get VersusJunkie, I know he'll like this match

It's not instant death it takes a few seconds, many people have been able to talk after they've been cut. And in Zero someone was able to launch an attack before dying.

If he's going to grab the blade that means he's trying to decay it like he did with Stain, but faster.

It does take a few seconds, but Tonura has to get a hit in within that time.

No he doesn't, it'll spread from the sword he touch to Akame who's holding it.

Which can be dodged by jumping as shown by Re-Destro. Only the giant crater attack was able to hit Re-Destro.

Yeah but unlike Re Destro she isn't faster than Shiggy and assuming her grabs the sword it's likely a double death since the decay would spread to her hand so I'll say incon then.
