So this is something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. The Shazam and Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) pages have been a major mess for quite a while now. That’s not to diminish the work that the creators of them did, because it’s good… but it can be better.
First of all, let’s start with Captain Marvel – The Big Red Cheese. (I'll do Shazam another day)
Two things that immediately stand out are the fact that he lacks Resistance to Fear Manipulation – When the demon Abaddon tried to use his fear, a fear that was said to scare any mortal, Shazam straight up punched the demon right back. Next, he’s shown a great resistance to Mind Manipulation… but how can we ever forget his Hypno Stare? In fact, he used said power to call back Spy Smasher’s true nature when a spell made him forget who he was.
