So, Deathblows are currently indexed as only Pressure Points on Sekiro's profile. However, I think they should also have Durability Negation. The first reason is their ability to seriously injure opponents much stronger than Wolf himself and finish off comparable opponents with one or two strikes when left exposed (this has to be the most obvious description for Durability Negation I've ever seen). The second reason is that they work on enemies that shouldn't even possess pressure points such as illusions which are inorganic and apparitions who are undead or ghost-like enemies (it's worth noting that some apparitions also have a passive ability which reduces damage dealt to them from most attacks, though it can be bypassed with Deathblows, Divine Confetti, and Lazulite weapons).

I disagree, it's just... stabbing people in lethal spots. Being a sword already takes care of the "comparable opponents" bit (Wolf's random sword slashes already cause profuse bleeding on a hit if more evidence of "sword cut" is needed) and non-organic creatures having or not having vulnerable spots is ultimately up to the work of fiction.

I get what you're going for but like Armor said, it's a sword stab, of course it's gonna be more effective than his regular slashes and stuff. At best I could see you arguing for a "higher" rating since they are treated as the strongest thing you can possibly do to someone in Sekiro when they mostly work off of guard breaks and not just beating the shit out of the people with regular slashes and stuff, though that can also trigger them.

Well, I don't really have any argument against both of your points so... Yeah, I'll just go ahead and count your votes.

Yeah. Armor got it.
