SCP-343 vs Thanos (with infinity gauntlet)

Eeh even with the infinity gauntlet thanos is pretty much nigh omnipotent. But either way 343 is truely omnipotent for what the scp foundation is concerned about. And for what we know 343 is more of a pacifist for what we know. Personally i think 343 wins. Think what you want to think.

No. Look at the profiles. A High 1-B will always stomp a 1-B, the gap is literally infinite. And 343 is not omnipotent, not even in verse as their are characters much stronger than him. There is no such thing as "nigh-omnipotent", you're either omnipotent or your not. Also, their are characters who would treat Thanos like an insect in Marvel.

Oof. What a thread.

Thanos isn't nigh omnipotent with the infinity gauntlet. 343 is way below truly omnipotent, even within the SCP foundation. 343 isn't a pacifist. 343 wins if it's infinity gauntlet Thanos due to AP stomp, 343 loses if it's High 1-B Thanos due to AP stomp.

Because omnipotence is different than omniscience and omnipresence. You can be omniscient over a certain topic, or omnipresent within a certain area. You can't be omnipotent within a certain domain or topic, because if you don't have the power to spread that power you don't have all power.

People use "nigh omnipotent" as a figure of speech but it isn't useful at all when comparing different fictional universes.

What's relevant for this match is basically.

Thanos with the infinity gauntlet is "2-A", this means that his power is infinite in 4-dimensional terms. In 5-dimensional terms he has zero power. In 3-dimensional terms he has way beyond infinite power.

SCP-343 is (before scaling) 164,884-dimensional. He has infinite power in 164,883 dimensions, way more than infinite in 164,882 dimensions and so on. He is hundreds of thousands of levels of infinity stronger than Thanos with the infinity gauntlet.

However, Thanos with the Heart of the Universe is "High 1-B", this means he has power in infinitely many dimensions. He has infinitely many levels of infinite strength over SCP-343.

The tiering system's basically there so that we don't get mismatches like this where one character can't do anything to the other character.
