Scout's intelligence

Scout's page, at the time I write this, has him at "Average" intelligence, with the following justification.

1. He "[Tricked] the Spy by taking advantage of [Spy's] sentiments for [Scout's] mother"

Scout did not do this in the comics, he wasn't even implied to do so. Scout doesn't even believe that Spy is his real father (Even though everyone else has figured it out). He doesn't believe this in part due to his repulsion at the idea, but also because he is an idiot. This is clearly Scout accidentally bringing up a subject which encouraged Spy to help him.

2. "He is able to keep up with the most deadly combatants in sustained fire fights"

While he is obviously able to "Keep up with" other mercenaries in battle, it is not because of his brains or quick-thinking. Even if he did have in-the-field combat analysis abilities, it is clearly an exception to his overall intellectual capabilities.

3. "Now he is considered one of the nine most dangerous mercenaries in the world, being an expert at flanking, evasion, and being incredibly annoying to friend and foe alike."

The TF2 mercenaries are not the most dangerous mercenaries in the world, both Saxton Hale and the Administrator have connections to squads that are implied to be much better equipped, trained, and coordinated. In response to Classic Heavy's question of "How did you beat us" (Referring to the mercs), Ms Pauline stated that she had no idea. While Medic stated that it "Was because we don't have souls". Excluding their dumb luck (And maybe some special abiltities granted by having no souls?) the TF2 mercenaries are far outclassed by many named squadrons in their own world. Either way, Scout clearly does not keep up intellectually with the world's most dangerous mercenaries.

Why should scout be below average?

1. He can't read; At least, he can't read well.
2. He jumps to conclusions (Like when he pushed a door on Uluru and immediately assumed he possessed super strength).
3. He can't catch on to both the fact that Ms Pauline is not interested in a relationship with him, and that Spy is his father.

I'm sure there are more things I could point to, but I think this should be sufficient.

I'd posit that scout should be ranked as below average, but at the very least the justification for his "Average Intelligence" should be changed.
