Stomp threads mean that the other opponent will get one-shotted or has absolutely 0 chance of winning. This is more a decisive win for Sasuke here, since Byakuya will not get one-shotted and would actually put up a fight.

Well, look up the fight of Gaara vs. Sasuke at the Five Kage Summit. Gaara was able to block Sasuke's Amaterasu with his sand; Byakuya has similar control over the blades of Senbonzakura as Gaara has over his sand. With his bankai, Byakuya would have enough extra blades for it not to matter. As shown in the Quincy Invasion arc, Byakuya can do some pretty neat/large scale attacks, stuff like summoning giant swords to dice apart that giant guy, which could trouble Sasuke's Susano'o. As for Chidori, Byakuya has access to a number of Kido techniques that he could use to shield himself.


It wouldn't be a stomp, but Sasuke would ultimately win.

Sand is not the same as a sword. Kido's are absorb by rinnegan and his bankai should be absorb as well. Energies are equalized and Senbonzakura is made of Reishi, the same goes for Byakuya's body.
