Well then, sans danmakus. Resistance to soul manip is inferior to frisk's, so that won't help, and his other stuff doesn't have the aoe and/or range to hit before sans moves away or blasts him.

Soul resistance isn't good enough, his freezing has time travel unless done in h2h and he doesn't really have that good of a danmaku himself.

Yes, it does. He can't freeze stuff from a distance instanteniously, and his teleportation is far less spammable.
Regardless, sans throws his bones, he either tries to block and dies, or tries to go logia and dies, or tries to freeze them and fails, or tries to dodge them and gets danmaku'd.

Sans is usually very relaxed, Raiden has resistence to soul manip, and mid low Regenerationn, meaning Sans' Building level attacks, once they begin to actually leave a mark, could just be healed up. Not to mention that Raiden can fly, so Sans' gravity manip could be ignored, if not a small nuisance.

His resistance isn't aplicable to soul destruction and sans is assumed to be in his fighting mentality.

People here are voting for Raiden for his much more superior range. Intangible attacks don't matter when your opponent is more mobile and has higher range by creating thunderstorms.

I'd like to point out that Raiden doesn't have the Amulet of Shinnok here. So no reasons that involve the amulet will be accepted unless changed, of course.
