As much as I like both characters, Sans can't deal permanant damage to Cthulhu, and I'm not sure if Soul stuff would actually work on him. Not only that but Mind screw gets Sans before anything too bad happens.

Cthulhu takes this, Sans only chance would be to go with a telefrag attack before even looking at Cthulhu, but with no prior knowledge he wouldn't do so.

Sans can't kill Cthulhu due to his Low-Godly Regen and Type 4 Immortality, and there's also his "Unconventional Composition", and since there's no prior knowledge here, Sans looks at him and goes insane before Cthulhu even notices that he is there.
