BATTLE CONDITIONS:

Ryuko is in her Life Fiber Synchronized tier. (7-C)

Battle takes place in the city of Honnōji.

Speed is equalized.

Fight begins eight meters apart.

Neither combatant knows anything about the other and there is no preptime, All Ryuko knows is that someone has been causing trouble and damage to the Mankanshoku household was done, she heard that some crazy skilled guy with a sword had been fighting in the area.

Fight takes place at 2 PM, in the middle of May.

Win is via incapicatation or knockout.

Battle of the warriors who wield the only sword in existence that can kill the tyrant of their world, which belonged to their deceased father. Nice match up.

I'd definitely say that Jack is a much more skilled swordsman than Ryuko is, but with her flight and far greater range, she pretty much dominates the battlefield. Along with her Regenerationn making her harder to put down for good and evolution/adaptability to help her get used to Jack's superior fighting style.

I give this to Ryuko.

But let's get back to the match up.

I'll say that Jack's jumping ability would equate to a nice surprise on Ryuko's part. His amount of skill could give him an edge in battle.

If he doesn't have anything for her Regenerationn, his advantages are ultimately useless.

I'd imagine he could still manage to knock her out. Once he realizes of her regenerative properties, he might come to the conclusion going for a knock out would be easier. Does regen cover K.O as in losing unconcsciousness from like a blow to the head or gut?

Not sure but if that's possible and Jack has much superior skill and fighting style as was mentioned, I can see him standing a chance. Didn't Satsuki stalemate Ryüko everytime because of her superior skill? Maybe something like that can happen here. Dunno. How skilled is Jack?

Satsuki did in fact stalemate her due to superior skill. Jack trained from young age, looking like 5 or so to early adult with skilled people from all around the world, He has learned how to "jump good" easily endure hash environments, could take out a group of bounty hunters all working together to take him out in the time it took for a drop fo water to fall from an icicle, and has 50+ years of experiencing fighting robots, demons, gods, and hundreds of varied enemies in all that time.

He has enough skill that even under heavy mental stress and guilt from his dishonor, he was able to last against 7 assassins literally birthed and harshly trained to specifically kill him.


I honestly see Jack as more skilled than even Satsuki.

Thing is, Ryuko never knew about her Regenerationn ability when she fought Satsuki, she never got the chance to use it in a fight against her...

True, but in these kind of hypotheticals, I don't think putting her in her 7-C tier brings her into the same mindset? Besides she will know about once Jack slices her arm and she freak outs and then freaks out more once it slorps back into place

Didn't Satsuki stalemate Ryüko everytime because of her superior skill?

The thing is, Satsuki can also fly and has comparable range. Advantages Jack lacks.

And it was a case of Satsuki couldn't beat Ryuko and Ryuko couldn't beat Satsuki. It's not like Regenerationn and adaptability wouldn't still help her.

Skills and intelligence can only take Jack so far if he can't get pass Ryuko's regen.

Not to mention that Jack doesn't have regen, so he can be defeated in more ways than he can put Ryuko down.

Basically,

Jack: martial arts and swordsmanship which can't overcome Ryuko's regen, though I won't say KO is beyond the realm of possibility

Ryuko: she pretty much fights a Sanageyama that has no precog but likely better skills, just with a much more serious mindset if she thinks she's fighting the bastard that troubled the Mankanshokus.
