If it were only the Saints and Specters, I would say that this is something exclusive to those two armies, considering how special their warriors and armors are compared to the rest. However, seeing that even Artemis' Satellites were unaffected by the curse of that place, I suppose you're right, and this could also apply to other armies or warriors who serve the gods.
